You do not need profiles from Simmarket or anywhere else.  Someone is trying to make a quick buck selling those. 

If a particular gate has a problem,  just use the GSX editor to fix it. If you don't want to take the time to edit them yourself, then look online for a free profile for that airport. I would never recommend buying a profile. You might not like the way the person that made the profiles did the edits. Once you learn to use the editor, fixing a gate takes a minutes.

The product works.  There were file distribution problems with Cloudfare. Some people got partial installations. That`s the whole issue. 

The push back function is outstanding.  I have not yet needed to edit a push route.  GSX puts me exactly where I need to be every time.  

Catering works fine. 

Refueling works fine. 

Boarding & deboarding work great. 

MSFS has jetway issues. To understand them,  park at a default gate somewhere and dock the jetway to the plane.  Go into drone mode and back away slowly.  When you get far enough away you visually see the jetway disconnect from the airplane. Then move forward again and you will see the jetway reconnect. The problem is that msfs sometimes doesn't put it back when you get close enough again. This leaves no jetway between the airplane and the terminal, and the passengers will walk through the air. Since MSFS does not send an indication when it improperly moves the jetway, GSX has no way in heck to know that it is gone. This is an MSFS bug that has been present the whole time. 

If you decide not to buy it at this time based on this thread then you are doing yourself a disservice.

GSX works right and complete (no missing features) on every airport, without any profile. If it does not, then a profile which only adds some fancy custom pushback target positions or some fancy custom vehicle placement or some fancy is not going to help.

Hello everyone, I need help with a problem in my gsx, at the beginning of the installation, during the first 3 or 4 flights I could choose the airlines of my stairs, now it won't let me do that, as a result sometimes I am in LEBL (Barcelona ) with an Iberia plane and the stairs are KLM from Frankfurt airport, is there a solution to this or has something broken? Thank you for your help

Do you use custom profiles for some airport sceneries? They can assign a certain ground handler to certain parking positions, the dialog to chose will therefore not appear. This is pretty much the only reason I can think of.

You mean that you could choose when you selected the gate you wanted after you landed, but now you can't, or do you mean that you tried to edit the gate(s) and it will not let you select the airline(s) in there?

Try this, start a flight parked at any gate at the airport you want to fix. Open the GSX menu and select 'Customize Airport'. Highlight the single gate, or group of gates that you want to modify on the left. On the right hand side, you'll see a box labelled "Airline Codes". Input the 3 letter ICAO code for the airline(s) that you want to use at those gates (use Wikipedia or Google to find them if you do not know them). If you want to have a choice, you can input more than one, just use all caps and put commas with no spaces between them. I input "ACA,WJA,BAW" into one, and the menu I got asked if I wanted Air Canada, British Airways, or Westjet (default GSX choice, which made sense as it matched my livery) when I called for catering.

GSX has a ton of airline in it so it can't list them all for you when you land. If the airport files specify one or more airlines for a gate, then GSX will use those. If the airport doesn't, then GSX will pick a couple form it's very large list and give you options. If you specify them in the GSX customization, GSX will try to use those.

 

I don't know how to remove the waypoint distances? It's not very aesthetic for screenshots.

That's a bug that shows up after you freshly edited walk in gates waypoints. Just restart Coatl and they'll vanish.

Thank you very much for answering, when starting at any airport and without prior configuration I could choose the stairs of the airline, now when I ask for the stairs, I do not have the option to choose the airline, on the other hand, I tried your solution to configure the airlines from the airport but without any favorable results, I will continue to investigate this

Sorry to hear that. Put your airplane back at the gate you were using and go back into customize position. Do you have any names in the two boxes labelled "Handling" and "Catering" operators? If you do, they will always be used, so GSX won't ask you to pick one. Change them both back to "default" if you see anything else in them.
