That's... that's the suggested solution? "Never mind the broken product you already bought... instead, buy another of our products because this one works?"

No, he hasn't said that.

He meant something completely different.

Btw. Just to crash the statistics here: meanwhile, after the first patches, I don't have any bigger issues. Mostly it is with strange animations (wheels or driving into each other).

Count me as another that has NOT had any problems installing or running GSX Pro. Now, I was a late adopter, just getting around to buying it and installing it about three days ago. I have since used GSX, without any real issues, with the Fenix A320 and the PMDG 737-700. So far, it has performed as advertised for me. I have many third party airports installed, and so far, I have not had any jetway issues or parking problems with those aircraft. As someone who has never used previous versions of GSX, I am thus far very happy with this product. I still need to dig into the parking spot customization process, but other then that, I have played around with everything else. So, from my experience, GSX Pro is working fine, and I am happy with my purchase 🙂

I am working as well after finally getting what appears to be the full and correct product. Very odd at times though for various reasons, and really far too often. I really wish more time had been spent on resolving some of the most obvious and pervasive things. For example, on tonight's flight...

All the updates to date have certainly made this better, I am enjoying GSX and it certainly adds a lot more immersion.

There are updates almost daily sometime twice a day, so make sure you spam your GSX updater

I am also having a good time using the editor, so for me it was a good purchase and apart from some of the animations anomalies which are gettinf less and less, I would certainly recommend it.

Now that response might have been worth thirty bucks just for the chuckle!

He was giving an example why „no critical reviews = perfect product“ is wrong, by saying between the lines that that airport of FSDT has no critical reviews or bug reports - but only because it was a commercial failure (= did not sell at all).
Also GSX isn‘t broken, come on. It might not be working on your system, but why aren‘t you trying to get support to make it work? Did you uninstall and refund MSFS every time they screwed up one of their sim updates or their server went down and you couldn‘t even fly or when you had a freeware mod that crashed the sim?

Are they doing 'the Conga' dance? Maybe all those free alcoholic beverages you generously provided during the flight went straight to their heads 😆

Maybe that's it! About every15 seconds or so one of them would "fall" down the stairs and make their way inside.

It's not just a few disgruntled users but a decent percentage, that can't get the product to run at all.

A decent percentage of what though exactly? It goes right back to the silent majority that MDFlyer mentioned. Who knows how many copies have been sold and guessing maybe a couple hundred users on the forums having actual issues.

On the other note about performance , for me is there's no impact on frames at all.

A decent percentage of forum posts, obviously.  A percentage of forum posts referencing a non-functional addon that you do not see in other addon forums.

But it's a support forum for a massive base of users, it's supposed to look like that. You are never going to see thousands of posts of positive praise for the product from the vast majority of users that it does work just fine for.

I'm certainly not downplaying that there are issues to resolve, but it's not nearly as bad as some make it out to be. There are updates out it seems a few times a day, it's pretty clear that the team is working pretty hard on making it better for everyone.
