Hi there,

We have started our first implementation of every EFCS computer (ELAC/SEC/FCDC), with their correct connections (bus/discrete/analog) and realistic logic, including alternate and direct law. Now available in our Experimental version.

Read more and stay up-to-date with experimental features at: https://docs.flybywiresim.com/exp

Awesome job, guys!

Side question for you 'bus experts. Why can't you use speed brakes in direct law?

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

I note that you state that  EFCS is now available in Experimental version.

My installation of FBW has not shown an update for approx a week. Are there problems with your servers

or other factors at play?

Your advice would be appreciated.

EFCS updates were pushed into experimental a while ago (about a week now). (it's independent of the announcement and progress update which is scheduled and managed by the media team)

From your response am I to assume that the Media Team have not issued an update recently

and when could an update be expected.

Actually simulate the aircraft at this point. Trying to outdo The payware addon at this point with an EFB and soundpacks it is is pretty pointless.

First there is no concept of "priority" since different people have different skill sets and everyone is an unpaid volunteer.

Second, that is gonna be made possible in part by FMSv2, which has been in development now for a while.

We're not gonna stop showing off other things because that isn't ready yet.

Thank you FBW team for continue to improve the A320NX! I love this aircraft and your work is very much appreciated!

Most of what is said on the Internet may be the same thing they shovel on the regular basis at the local barn.

One day they’ll wake up and realize every feature of A32nx is better than payware 😄

It's much simpler than that. Dev team adds new code and features, while it's upto the media team to cover those updates through posts at their own pace. A feature may be released a while before it receives a promotion post. In this case EFCS is already in experimental for a week now.
