The new preview update will primarily address issues with online stability, crashes, and the Airbus A310. Full release notes will be provided at release.

I just thought about this.  If Asobo isn't specifically stating their going to address issues like CTD's, ATC and AI we might be getting out hopes up prematurely.😳  I remember in the past when issues weren't fixed some chimed in here stating, "They never said they'll fix that...".  I was hopefully until I had time to fully process what's happening here.  I'll join the beta team and give feedback that hopefully makes a difference.  I suggest others do the same or we're stuck with the many problems of this update until February 2023 at the soonest.🥴

I am hoping this update brings back the performance of SU10 (although not specifically mentioned).    This is the worst update since SU5 performance wise for me - stutters all over the place with no changes whatsoever.....

probably an issue at your side, i dont see many people having that, outside the 310.(and the cause is known for that one)

I want old photogrammetry back. One of the most glaring and ugly examples is flying over London City and watch the city have a "popcorn" effect as you fly over with 3D buildings sort of morphing into full scale and textures.

There's also the one where application also doesn't exit properly and needs to be closed from the Task Manager 😥

Unless you're running Vanilla MSFS, every add-on you add to \Community\ folder could potentially be causing the issue not just the main sim.

It's obviously very common practice to put the blame on MS / Asobo exclusively. I had to use the task manager to shut down MSFS only once since day 1.

Cheers

Il est évidemment très courant de blâmer exclusivement MS / Asobo. J’ai dû utiliser le gestionnaire de tâches pour arrêter MSFS une seule fois depuis le jour 1.

À votre santé

Mick

Right, I’ve only had two CDTs since the release of MSFS the first to its release (August 2020) and the second a few days ago during a "lost connection" to repetition.

I think this is definitely the case.  I expect a beta patch this early is just basically a hotfix for a few things that were easy fixes.  I’d be surprised (though happily so) if it covered a longer list of things like AI and ATC.

Just getting the stage one update on the way into MSFS.  386.5MB  Here we go!  Good luck everyone!

EDIT:  Quite a slow download at the moment.

Call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind, but I prefer Rob.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Please note that despite what the doc is saying you don’t have to manually edit the definition files to reference extra files that you want to put in your simobject asset groups (the doc will be updated for official release).
