December 23, 20223 yr I have installed the FSLTL Base Models and using it with the MSFS REAL TRAFFIC option. MSFS GROUND TRAFFIC is set to 0. I see quite a few aircraft with no liveries (all white aircraft). Is there any way to assign actual liveries to these aircraft using the ModelMatchingMagic utility ? zachlog
December 23, 20223 yr Simple answer NO. Modelmatching seem to have been broken with SU11, we will have to wait on Asobo to fix.
December 23, 20223 yr You can disable the generic white paints though on the startup config... Eric i9-12900k, RTX 5070ti OC, 32GB ddr5 5600 RAM, 2TB 980 Pro SSD, Titan 240RX AIO, Samsung CRG90 49", Win 11
December 23, 20223 yr The op mentioned that he was using the MSFS REAL TRAFFIC so the settings in FSLTL mean nothing. The model matching is broken since one of those updates. On top of that FSLTL with as many liveries as it does include, it is still missing many so you will see lots of white and also mismatched liveries. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
December 23, 20223 yr I don't mind seeing the actual FSLTL model with a blank livery occasionally. There will be a fix for that at some point. What really triggered me were those pointy nose hideous Airbus'esque models from the MSFS AI library. Not even sure what the model designer was trying to make there. In fact, it would be a great idea if Asobo replaced those awful default models with something which actually resembles the aircraft, regardless of the fact that third party options are available. Fortunately you can turn that off. Edited December 23, 20223 yr by ErichB

It's more likely that the avoided any resemblance to real airframes on purpose. Because being first party they would probably need permission to include the likeness of any real aircraft in the sim.

You can disable them by either removing their aircraft.cfg entry or editing the entry to remove them as ai.
