Quick glance FPS increased some.  Not seeing any blurry texture or mountain of shaving cream at the top layer.

Weather isn't expected to be fully fixed until at least b2.  There's quite a bit going on in that area.

Hi,

This update didn't like my network had to roll back. Only the center visual would connect.

Former Beta Tester - (for a few companies) - As well as provide Regional Voice Set Recordings

                Two: AMD-9950X | One: AMD-7950X3D | Three: Asus TUF 4090s | Three: 64GB DDR5 RAM 6000mhz | Three: Cosair 1300 P/S | Three: 990Pro 2TB NVME                    One: Eugenius ECS2512 - 2.5 GHz Switch | Three: Ice Giant Elite CPU Coolers | Three: 75" 4K UHDTVs | One: Boeing 737NG Flight Deck

The FPS drop at dawn/dusk seems to be gone.

I noticed something weird on the C172 though. It constantly rolls left, and requires a constant right yoke input. Reminds me of the old infamous "torque bug", but it doesn't seem to be related to prop or engine, because it's there even with both the engine and prop stopped.

Apparently it can't be corrected with rudder or aileron trim. Indeed, if using trims the aircraft will fly heavily uncoordinated, but still rolls left.

I haven't checked if the issue is also present in other similar aircraft, nor I remember if it was already there in former releases.

This flight model bug should be corrected.

That sounds very much like fix for

XPD-13659 – Slight roll for swept-wing aircraft.

broke none swept wing aircraft... which I can only say is just really funny if true, omfg I hate computers.

Experiencing the same issue - 4 different aircraft - all the same constant roll. Trim changes do not fix, rudder balancing does not fix. Can almost be uncontrollable at low speed leading to incipient spin and crash. - PBY Catalina did it, YS-11 did it, Piper Aerostar did it and C172 did.

I will correct this - I had to reset and create a whole new set of joystick-control sensitivies. I can now fly the C172 I guess adequately. So all my old profiles had to be discarded.

Over reaction to turbulence continues.

Probably affects aircraft with no or reduced wing sweep.

Aircraft like the CUB and the RV-10 should suffer even more from it (?)

What is your sensitivity curve looks like? Screenshot if possible.

Did they tweak the anti aliasing a bit? Everything seems much more crisp.

Still working on this. Not happy with control response in general for a variety of aeroplanes, not sure if it is my ageing Logitech 3 - still to try altering altering the curves. Basically coming up with a different profile for different aircraft.

Pitch is too sensitive, roll is excessive (very rapid needs to be toned down) and rudder (depends).

I am basically a joystick and keyboard simmer so other more comprehensive control setups may work better.

The inflight turbulence factor does appear to have decreased. Note sure if this is a result of changes to aerodynamic formula for flight.

I also found that selecting Chase as an external view (Shif=8) gave a view where the aircraft bobbed about like a cork giving you the impression that turbulence response was out of control. Changing to CIRCLE view (word not allowed+4) gave me a stable external view. The aircraft still moves about but lightly in light turbulence.
