Misty Moorings Not Showing

Featured Replies

I'm hoping someone can offer some help with this as I am completely perplexed. For some reason, which remains a mystery to me, Misty Moorings, which I have just added to my Addon Linker, is not showing any sceneries at all. The main RTMM folder, which I unzipped after downloading and which includes all the relevent files has been added to a dedicated 'scenery folder' in Addon Linker, which includes all my other third party airports and sceneries. I have spent the best part of this evening trying to get the sceneries to show! Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Is each scenery link showing green?

It may not like being in a another subfolder. The same as Gaist ships. Install instructions suggest creating a RTMM folder with those 33 folders inside then using addon linker to attach to that. Same as you would do if you wanted to use addon linker to control ORBX addons.

Say you have a folder called MSAddOns. Then inside this another folder called Scenery and inside Scenery another called RTMM then another 30 odd folders containing the critical files.

Try moving the RTMM to be directly under MSAddons or try having RTMM on its own and use Addons Linker to connect to it as a new folder. Options/ General tab/My Addons Folders.

Cheers

Nope, tried all suggestions and don't know where to go, except uninstall it all and not bother.  EDIT: One thin gI have not tried is to drop it straight into the main Community folder, bypassing Addon Linker. Will try that and report back.

That's a strange issue. I have the RTMM folder under /Scenery/North America, so it's also buried but still working fine. Hope you get it sorted as it is really a nice package.

You may also try it with RTMM being the only add-on in the community folder to exclude any conflicts.

This is straight out of the spooky book! I have placed the RTMM folder directly into the community folder, bypassing Addon Linker and removed everything else from the folder. Fired up the sim and hey... nope, no sceneries showing... still the same. Very, very odd.

Indeed. In the original zip archive is one folder, then another two, of which one contains the individual scenery packages. Maybe try putting these into the community folder, starting with PF20?

why not send screenshots that show the complete and exact directory structure, similar to what I uploaded yesterday:

It's been 6 hours without reply. Did he jump?

Hopefully he's just sleeping

I wonder if he has a Virus protect program that doesn't like the RTMM files?  I do have one question, is anyone else seeing those ice covered trees in the scenery?  I am thinking that these are the trees that were in FSX or P3D just copied over for the MSFS sim.
