Hey man all I know is…

I get a stock TBM with a superior G3000 with MSFS. What other sim gives me that????

I surely don’t want to have to pay for an additional and limited G1000 version on another platform…

Another reason why….nothing surpasses MSFS

As long as you get what YOU want, all is good with the flight sim world.

It's all about choices, isn't it?  You made yours, and you're obviously happy with it.  So

And it's causing ripples in the 3rd party payware pool.  I don't blame WT for it.  They're getting paid.  But payware devs are, shall we say, mildly miffed that payware quality stock additions are coming out.

Makes no sense, we all want the basic features stock. Did you know that 3rd party payware Devs asked Asobo  to make better stock avionics???? Gotta watch those Dev livestreams. Again your points are not valid here.

I know more about the payware world than you do.  It's safe to say that.

How about we get this thread back on track?

10 million MSFS customers?  And only 1.3 million sold on Steam?

Please make the correct statements.  10 million downloads.  I was one of them.

And there are still people who will disagree with you.

I don't need to be shown.  I can make up my own mind.

Have you made up your mind with regards to value for money? Which to my mind is an important consideration when choosing a sim.

I've only seen the first 20 minutes of todays 95 minute Q&A.

So far in the first 20 minutes:

The Caribou interior is highly detailed.  For instance the humongous old radio racks roll out from the dash and retracts so pilots can walk around it. Lots of animations.

POI labels in the outside scenery are going to have on the fly customizable fonts.

They are redoing Canadian cities, Calgary is done already, working on several more. Jorg promises the lower quality photogrammetry "won't be happening in the future" (in future world updates).

An MSFS team has identified all bridges that cannot be flown under (are solid), they have a team fixing all of them. (this sounded like an exageration to me,  how could they have found them all?)

Instead of 6 planned PG cities there are now 8 in WU NZ. Airports 9 instead of the planned 4. 62 new POI instead of the planned 30.

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

Nah.  It was dead.  Asobo resurrected it.  FSW tried and failed.  Asobo are very talented and great at what they do.  They met the criteria Microsoft set for them, and succeeded.
