At Feb 2023, one missing feature you'd most like in MSFS?

Recommended Posts

1. Disable those pesky camera switch transitions!!!

2. Live weather, with historical data also

3. The ability to switch planes without going to main menu... or at least, the ability to change callsigns without returning to menu.

All good suggestions... AI, ATC, seasons (being worked on so hopefully comes out in 2023), and further ground physics improvements (beyond the initial SU11 improvements and fully realizing the long term goals Seb spoke about last year) would top my list. And more of a keep-on-doing-what-you're-doing request with the AAU enhancements for other default aircraft as well as the planned improvements for thermals/helis/gliders/etc they spoke about in the recent Q&A.

On a side note, there's this thread on the official forums https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/direction-of-the-sim/573317/4 worthy of a read that started off as a great acknowledgement of all what MS/Asobo have done so far, especially since SU5, and others have chimed in with what still needs improving.

AI system that works and can be compatible with 3rd party products (AIG, FSLTL). Of course, I'd expect those 3rd parties will have to modify their products. I just don't want the system to be locked down or have some poison pill that prevents other from building upon it.

After that, a good ATC system that work with the AI system.

Stewardesses

Specifically, those PSA and Southwest stewardesses from the early 1970's. But they are probably retired by now  //haha//.

I won't mention the publication. But I once read an "article" about the Girls of Brannif.

So, as of Feb 2023, what is your single greatest wish for a feature in MSFS, that is not currently there?

Support for rotating knobs.

Night lighting that is visible and crisp in the distance and doesn't quickly turn into a blurry yellow blob where a city should be.  (If anyone wonders what I'm on about, fly into Dubai at anything higher than FL100.
