TO CONFIG will warn you, yes, but it's not automatic, needs a button push. Been working on other areas of the aircraft recently so can't remember exactly the conditions and associated warnings.

Actually, I do know how to fly the A320 in the sim. My question was exactly what I said, based on an occurrence I had never encountered. If you need clarification, then JUST SAY THAT!! Or, keep it moving. There is no need to go completely out of your way to be rude about it. 🙄

I wasn‘t being rude, I genuinely asked because the kind of help to give you entirely depends on whether it‘s a user operational issue or a technical issue (bug).

Has there been any further development news on the Fenix A320 CEO?

I tried Discord, but could not find the "Announcements" section.... I'm a Git when it comes to eComms....

@Aamir if it's not too much of a bother, would you please give us a short update on the current status of the a/c when you have a moment?

Carl, the last Official update was on February 24th, this is what was said:

Happy Friday all!

Seeing as we've been a bit quiet lately and that has resulted in a lot of people assuming we're dead rather than just busy working, I figured a small update was in order to stave off the life insurance phonecalls for a bit longer.

For the most part there's nothing new to announce/show, except that we're much further along on all fronts mentioned in the last update, and so far keeping right on our revised schedule per our current internal development roadmap. The V2 update is an expectedly huge undertaking, rivaling the amount of work required for the original development. The external engine model is in the final phases before pushing into testing, dealing with edge-cases (e.g. what happens to the oil pressure, temperature or vibration when you start an engine in -30C and then immediately firewall the throttles), and startup/shutdown transient states, thermal transients, etc. Flight model & fly-by-wire refinements have continued with a focus on crosswind take-off and landing performance; there are some rather nasty 'sim-isms' that cannot be worked around here, but it's a heck of a lot better than before. System tweaks and improvements have also been made over the last few months. Performance benchmarks of the new display system show a significant uplift in performance, and the visual rework, from displays to the 3D model, is looking very nice with a few "never seen before in MSFS" goodies, all whilst consuming less resources. As before, nothing we're quite ready to show as there's a lot to be brought together into one cohesive package, but I'm personally extremely happy with the progress being made on all fronts.

We'll be back with more when we have something to show - sorry there wasn't much of substance here but as before, there's not a whole lot to say other than we're still alive and working hard. Thanks for being patient with us, it'll be worth it and some.

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

Thanks!  Yes, I was aware of that. I was hoping that after 9 weeks a gentle query wouldn't go amiss.... fingers x'ed.

@Aamir - as I’ve seen you comment on other threads at AvSim, may I again raise a hand and please ask for a teeny tiny update on the A320 v2? I love her, but hope to turn love into adoration :).

Much obliged- C

Dave just posted on their Discord that basically "there is no update."

I'm going to back Carl's request, but more in the way of asking for those cool blog updates we used to get during the pre-release development of V1.

Those were the best WIP updates of any product for MSFS with no close second. If you feel like finding an excuse not to do 200 landings in a day, Aamir, some super wordy blog updates to the main website would be equally amazing.

He did say that there were multiple updates planned for 2023. Which is good news.

I’d never want to delay with silly demands, but as I saw @Aamir active at AvSim I thought I’d ask.  Thanks to all who provided news.

@Aamir In regards to that, what's the status of your Ukrainian engine model main developer? Has he been able to return to any kind of continous work?

EDIT: Before someone asks - the developer is ukrainian, not the engine model 🙂
