Black Square Analog Bonanza - Flight Dynamics??

Thanks Bert, would there be any issue using Rob's files with the turbocharged Bonanza or does the different engine type not matter for what these files modify?

I believe it should be fine. As a matter of fact, Rob Young's flight model is for a Turbo Bonanza.. 😉

I have both the BS Bonanza and the Improvement Mod. They are both good and both update the flight physics compared to default. However, the BS is payware and has a lot to offer in terms of in-cockpit.

So, yes. It does improve the physics. I did adjust a few things in the sim regarding my Honeycomb Alpha

Perfect I’ll give that a go tonight, thanks!

The BS version feels very sensitive in pitch to me but then I’ve never flown the real thing so who knows.

Replace the ai.cfg and flight_model.cfg files by the Rob Young version (rename the originals), and then replace the Fuel section in the flight_model.cfg file by the original.

Thanks, yoke sensitity is much better 🙂

However in the Turbo, I've lost the tip tanks in the payload manager, what do I miss?

(I kept the original fuel section as per instructions)

Ah!  That might be a limitation then.  You may need to look for a missing section from the BS version and copy and paste it over.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

My bad!

I kept the fuel section from the w/o tip aircraft, sorry

Just had a look... try copying back the [INTERACTIVE POINTS] section.

Bert

I had only copied the fuel section and my fuel distribution is just as is should be in my Turbo with tanks.
