Seriously?

seriously!

and it gets worse:

as a VR only flier, I like to walk in and around the airport environment, not just begin/end in the cockpit before/after I depart. I also enjoy going up to the tower and enjoy the view from their position. did that in real life a couple of times and spoke with the approach radar controller in a quiet low traffic night. as real as it gets.

those painted windows look like the tower is closed/lifeless. with so much work that went into its design I don't get it why make the tower windows look like in FSX when all that's required is to change the material from solid to transparent. even many of the smallest GA airfields have transparent windows.

YMMV

all that work but non transparent tower windows?

In real world we pulled the shades (sometimes double shades) so you wouldn't be able to see in anyway haha.

I just fly.  Airport terminals are on my "avoid if possible" list.  Too many bad travel experiences in those places. Too many hours lost.  Too many important events missed.  Too many lame excuses....

The virtual sky is my escape from that....

I spent 36 years working for an airline. I have no interest in seeing the inside of the terminals in my flight sim airports. I know some people do so I like the option of being able to turn it off if it helps performance.

I am tempted at that price.

The Southwest fliers must be thrilled.

I am interested in learning of the performance and any impact on framerate.

I have a lot of their products including Heathrow and LAX.  Both have reputations for bringing a machine to its knees, but they both run ok on my box (i5 12600k / RTX 3070ti) but Dallas Love currently is a stutter fest for me. I hope some tools to adjust the modeling are soon made available, but for now it’s all or nothing and all is pretty stuttery!

I just bought it and installed it and flew the Black Square Baron the 10 short miles to KDFW and it was a slideshow.  I don't think it was INI, I think it might have been FS Traffic.  Not sure.  I tried it with a 737 and same thing, it wasn't frames per second but frames per hour.

So I'm curious if anyone out there has FS Traffic and has not bought KDAL if you fly from KDAL to KDFW and see if it's a slideshow.  My PC ain't a powerhouse but I do have a 3070.

Thanks.  Jack.

FSTraffic running here with the KDAL scenery and it's buttery smooth at 37fps.
