Ah - I'm going off some old information from his forums, where someone had said he was undergoing cancer treatment. Regardless - point stands. We need something more substantive, and as old as it is, FSPax is still the most substantial cabin crew/airline treatment we've gotten. As a former crewmember, I like the idea of something that simulates the crew interaction as much as the line flying, which is why FSCaptain was a reasonable entrant, but required so much configuration work that it wasn't worth it. Give me something that allows me some interaction with dispatch, maintenance control, the gate agents, the flight attendants, maybe give that some dynamic voices with something a little better than the MS Speech stuff that every developer is obsessed with... there are much better COTS options for voice synthesis. It doesn't have to be so in depth, we don't have to be calling MedLink and choosing from options 1-4 in a conversation simulator, but there are so many things that can be done beyond the "fly slow or man dies" bit, which is absolutely NOT how we would handle it.

April 7, 20233 yr I don't know if the update for SLC will see the light of day but I also use it on all my flights and we can make our own cabin sounds too which is quite immersive
April 7, 20233 yr The problem with these apps is lack of integration. Start boarding in the Fenix EFB, start boarding with PACX, start boarding with GSX, FS2Crew etc... They all work independently with their own timings. Not really good enough.

It's why I'm grateful to the SDK that GSX provides, FBW can now fully synchronise it's passengers and cargo with that of GSX, as-well as fueling. It would be great if PACX and SLC did the same.

SLC update will never happen. Its actually pretty weird how people are still hanging on. He posted an update preview video in October 2021. I know covid made people lose track of time but let me remind you its now April 2023. So..... It's already been 3 years since he said the update was 99% done. April 7, 20233 yr Yes, it's true ! Haha hope gives life. But I think he left a message on the forum not so long ago that he was still working on 1.6 development. I would say early this year or late last year.

He posted here because he has zero control over what people say or what is posted. There is no update coming. I wouldn't be surprised if people wait until 2040 for this SLC update but I will continue to post to deter people from buying. You aren't missing much. Its dead. April 7, 20233 yr So yes the covid made me lose track of time 😁 I thought it was not long ago... Bizzare his message indeed it leaves the door open to still buy SLC but I no longer believe in 1.6 either
