“ ….Resonaero shared their thoughts on exhibiting at FlightSimExpo for the first time: “We’re excited to launch our public beta at Flight Sim Expo 2023 and reveal a brand-new passenger simulation for Microsoft Flight Simulator, with scenarios and persistent career,” said Mike Mortimer, Founder & Lead Developer. At the show, meet our developers and discover a new purpose to your flying, as virtual passengers rate your ability to fly safely, smoothly, and on time.”

FlightSim Expo 2023 - Boot W4

Ooo this looks very nice visually, I wonder how it'll stack up to PACX and SLC

I think im good off these passenger addons. Im not sure where or when the idea people would want something like a passenger heart attack to have to divert their flight got so popular. Also every passenger addon comes off half baked compared to FSPassengers 2004

You might not intend this, but that post comes off as "I don't want this and therefore anyone who does want it is wrong."

My interests are peaked.

FSPassengersX was truly ahead of its time. The only other addon that ever came close was FSCaptain. Sadly we won't be seeing either in MSFS for the foreseeable future. So if this can come close to these old and polished products, I'm sold.

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

Looks good. This and A Pilot’s Life would go very well together.

I think we all want a decent passenger addon but over the years the FSPassenger replacements have all been very regrettable purchases. Yes I am a little pessimistic but as for my point above, If anyone actually works in aviation in the real world please chime in if you look forward to medical emergencies in real life. Im not sure why anyone would want to pay again to simulate that (PACX already does this) but I digress

Well of course not, those affect real people and have real consequences.

In the sim, however, the goal is fun. If the addon throws a bird strike or a medical emergency my way, there's a sense of accomplishment there for successfully handling an unexpected event.

I would have that "FEAR" slider way up.  Heh.   "FEAR" as pronounced by Dr. Strangelove.  Feeuh!

I dunno. If you have to divert because of a heart attack, do you still get point in APL2? If not, I would never divert.

I think I would be more open to it if I can continue to my original destination after dealing with the emergency. As it stands now these programs will have you divert your flight and then you have to load brand new passengers to start another flight. That kills any immersion for me especially with the chance you may have yet another emergency with these brand new passengers

Yeah, you do. You can divert. I think it completes the leg.
