April 29, 20233 yr The “Passat” is an old FSX ship that I converted to MSFS. The real Passat is a German four-masted steel barque and one of the Flying P-Liners, the famous sailing ships of the German shipping company F. Laeisz. Launched in 1911, she is one of the last surviving windjammers and anchors, well preserved, in Travemünde, a city in Northern Germany. (The name "Passat" is German for trade wind). Time to drop the sails, so we can be towed into the small harbor (there are two models of the ship, one with sails and one without) Over 100 years ago, the Passat was considered a large ship. As we can see, not anymore 🙂 Tomorrow we are going to explore the area by plane. Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds My specs: AMD Radeon RX6700XT, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM, 34" monitor, screen resolution: 2560x1080

April 30, 20233 yr Oh! Very nice indeed. I always wondered where VW Group got the name 🙂 Look forward to your aircraft choice for the landside trip! I intend to go looking for Mt. Erebus, which you may know, has a bit of history for the Kiwis.
April 30, 20233 yr Still preserved, unlike her sister the Pamir, on 21 September 1957, she was caught in Hurricane Carrie and sank off the Azores, with only six survivors rescued after an extensive search.
