July 5, 20232 yr I've been into EGWU a number of times in a G-III and a G-V--and that was some pretty tight going. ~5500 ft runway that always seems to be wet when you need to go in there, really narrow taxiways, and an eternally-crowded ramp. Impressive to see C-17s in there. July 5, 20232 yr Author Well, the residents in that street can see the rivets. I was thinking, as an aviation enthusiast, I'd love it, but would I day after day?

As I look at it again, the police car is also RAF. Dugald Walker

July 5, 20232 yr I'm pretty sure this happens any time for that specific RAF base if a large plane are coming into land. There are a number of videos on it - So not specifically just for Biden's visit. Which is why they have the flashing lights (like what you see for a railway crossing in the UK) and then the police are there to make sure traffic does actually stop.
