KATL ImagineSim MSFS

Featured Replies

Anybody using Imagine Simulations KATL in MSFS?  I used it with P3D and thought it was good.  The preview screenshots for their MSFS program don't look that good or as detailed..

I own the Imagine Sim KATL and prefer the Asobo. The ImagineSim is out dated and no one has heard from ImagineSim in some time. Don't waste your money. The Asobo one is fine until someone comes along and makes an updated version.

I prefer Asobo as well.  Really disappointed in the ImagineSim version.

I live in Atlanta and the default KATL looks pretty good to me.

I did some comparison shots a couple of years back -

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

Thank you for all your responses.  I think I'll just use the default ASBO version for now.  Hopefully a developer will provide an updated detailed version.

I second what some others mentioned. ImagineSim's ATL is outdated, inaccurate, and of disappointing quality in a lot of areas. Asobo's ATL is also outdated and lacking quality in areas; however, it's better and I recommend it over ImagineSim's.

Of the two lackluster options, Asobo is better. This airport is practically screaming for a high end dev to do it. I know people have consistently pestered iniBuilds to do one so let’s hope.

hopefully a large team developer like inibuilds gives it a shot.  I also prefer asobo version over imaginesim.
