First picture of FSLabs Concorde for MSFS

I just used it as an example of what the MSFS physics engine will allow and more importantly won't allow... The fenix simply being the flagship of MSFS addons thus far.

In an airplane like the concord, with it's unique yet crucial flight dynamics, FSLabs are facing a daunting task. I don't know for how long have they been busy already with the MSFS version and in what stage of development it is already but given their record for uncompromising fidelity it might be a long  process considering the tools MSFS is providing them in that respect.

You as usual don't have a clue about what is possible or not with the physics engine of MSFS, and now you're also speaking for FSL as to what they are able to accomplish with the MSFS Concorde or not. But hey, you keep doing you. When FSL have regularly said they're doing parallel development on the MSFS Concorde, and most recently said "And lastly - we cannot wait to start showing more previews on what we've also been working on :) ", I'm going to go out on a limb and say they're not having any major blockers, and they wouldn't even be talking like this if they're unable to do the kind of work they'd want to do, on the MSFS platform (in fact they're now all-in on MSFS and that platform is their one and main focus, funny isn't it). It was also telling when they quipped back on their forums at similar drivel and denigrations about MSFS, very hilarious actually: https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/636158-accusim-2-level-of-flight-dynamics-in-msfs-2024/?do=findComment&comment=4991341 (oh, while you're there perhaps you can educate yourself on what the actual experts say about flight dynamics in MSFS).

As to what V1 Simulations and other IRL 320 pilots said and lauded about the Fenix, probably best to take up your objections with them (Ray has already said to stop discussing about that aircraft on this thread).

And I see you didn't answer the question about what the other sim platform supposedly provides for FSL that MSFS does not, when that platform is essentially using FSX aerodynamics.

Where'd you get that idea? Even the Fenix devs have acknowledged the flaws in their flight modelling and fly-by-wire implementations that their working steadfast to rectify, hence V2.

There's plenty of other planes out there that get pretty close to the real world numbers, payware and freeware if you would give them a try.

This is starting to become a repeat of a previous forum post where it was demonstrated that actual seasoned devs have favourable opinions of MSFS to faithfully recreate their aircraft. Are you just choosing to ignore this and talking for the simple sake of it?

Let’s not forget A320 is one of the most complex aircraft to be modeled in a flightsim.

I think it is a step above a 737 or a 777 in regards to system complexity

I can give you another example, from the opposite end this time, namely the A2A Comanche. It's a brilliant implementation - you know why? first and foremost because of it's flight dynamics!

I think that's the difference: For YOU flight dynamics are the most important thing, in fact all of your criticism towards the Fenix is centered around flight dynamics (pitch&power, engine out etc.). Now I'd argue flight dynamics, especially the abnormal ones, are secondary on a (non-training) simulation of an airliner that is being flown in normal law autopilot 99,9% of the time. You cannot compare the Comanche with an airliner.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Don’t say you weren’t warned. You can thank those who continued to discuss the Fenix in a Concorde topic why this discussion is now ended.
