August 19, 20232 yr you mean the one that has the best atmospheric lighting in the industry? I have spent way to long on this but if anyone out there has any further suggestions I am willing to try Regards Ray Well I had a similar experience maybe a year or so ago. What I did was pretty easy for me but could be extreme depending on what all you keep on your computer: I removed all my files, pictures, videos, etc to an external drive (SSD or USB Stick etc) then I went to Windows 10 setting and selected “Reset This PC” and basically erased the entire drive (I have a 4GB Samsung SSD) and reinstalled Windows 10. It’s a pain in the rear to reinstall everything (Printer, LibreOffice, Adobe, etc). When it was done, I next totally updated Windows 10 thru the standard Windows Update feature followed by Nvidia updates. Once updated, I finally reinstalled MSFS 2020. I did NOT add any additional stuff, just the basic program (Premium Deluxe edition). Then I used it a while and it worked great. So next I reinstalled all the ‘payware’ sceneries and planes I bought. Again, I used it a while and it worked great. Next I slowly added ‘freeware’ to the Community Folder and tried it. Well I eventually got a CTD again. So I deleted all the recent freeware since my last ‘test’ and it has worked flawlessly for at the past year or so and continues to work fine. The culprit in my case was Hawaii sceneries I downloaded from flightsim.to. So now I just use the default Hawaii scenery and have zero issues. Now if a designer will make PHNL 🙂 Will this work for you? Who knows. Maybe as a last resort because, again, it’s very time consuming. It takes hours just for the ‘Reset’ to erase everything and reinstall Win10 but you don’t have to sit in front of it! Best of luck! G Edited August 19, 20232 yr by dvdfab5

If you’re running a Nvidia driver, do a complete uninstall of the driver and when you reinstall do NOT install the HD audio driver. That right there was a turning point in the sim for me. The audio drivers cause a lot of problems.
