Biology, just Voted! 😃 441 votes now!!

The Atmosphere/Sky rendering Realism/Quality is VERY important!

Biology, thank you soo much for your work/research done

👍🥂 🍻 ️ 🤩

It's a pity though,

that we only seem to have *10* VOTES Availiable

to use for a Lifetime.. 🙁

have to shuffle the votes around all the time.. 😮😮

Good Luck! Hope you get invited to talk to the ASOBO-Team you really deserve it.

*But could it be* ? that MS/ASOBO team have allready found this out? I remember *discussion around* the MSFS2024 Trailer , that it had a more realistic sky/atmosphere ??

Hmm what?? 😱

everytime I reach 10 votes I have to shuffle my votes around, wich is tiring.. 😔

Maybe you are starting posts a lot and that earns you more votes? That or the early Apha/Beta team-members get a unannounced limit of votes *as a thank you* ?? 🤔 could be ??😯

Looks like the number of votes depends on the trust level:

https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/trust-levels-and-how-to-advance/121729

I guess you are on Trust Level 1.

I came across this problem quite a while ago. When I posted a question about this, I was told that I had to raise my trust level, and that is based on how many posts you make in the forum.
So I set about asking new questions, posting responses to existing threads to boost my trust level up enough so I could vote without restriction.

Yup that is it I guess, too low trustlevel (1) 😒

I think it would have been better to link it to *a verified purchase*(especially for day-1 preorder/purchases), then *atleast* have "dobble the votes" 😲

also a pity that they do not have a counter telling you(in your profile) how far away from trustlevel-2) you are and what needs to be done to advance there right now! 🙄

Well would you look at that lol today just happens to have one of those MSFS sunsets where I live in the Caribbean. The conditions were right for it.

Is this real or MSFS? I can't tell.

Also just voted for this! Thank you Biology for your amazing discoveries on this matter. Now here's hoping that Asobo will see this and implement it!

Does anybody knows can this be done by Asobo/MS "under the hood", that is us not knowing it? Or does this require some kind of sim update? Just general curiosity...

Very likely the latter. Only Asobo would know for sure, of course, but since the purple sunsets happen in all live weather conditions, it seems unlikely that they have some way of streaming the required coefficients to the sim.

I agree, although I think they could, if they only wanted to. Unfortunately the Atmosphere- and Environment-side of the sim (Live Weather, physics, snow coverage, WxRadar...) has been pretty much orphaned, not only since the announcement of MSFS2024.

I am very curious about the reaction to this new Wishlist item (now at 461 votes). If they take it seriously, they'd even check if there's a way to add some variety, because although preferrable, those more realistic sunsets will become boring too, as they are the same everywhere, everytime.
