October 3, 20232 yr Hello! Does anyone knows of any addon to create realistic wing effect during turbulence? maybe that depens in the model and its not possible to change... I was looking to the following video (minute 5:20) and maybe anyone knows how add or create realistc effect. Thanks
October 3, 20232 yr I know two products - Active Sky P3D (v4/v5) (you can tune the turbulance effect scale on the aircraft) - A2A Accu-Feel : Turbulence modeling (can be tuned for each aircraft) Of course, these products have a lot of other actions... Enjoy 🙂 Gérard Edited October 3, 20232 yr by gaab

As said above, turbulence effects can be added by those products, which are very good, but they do not create wing flex, which I suspect you may be looking for, unless that feature is incorporated in the aircraft model. Some sim models have it, some don't. Of course in real life, some aircraft have very noticeable wingflex, while some have very little. It's down to design choices. John B

It's an animation and needs to be built into the model, it's not an item that can plug in easily. Here is an example of winge flex built into the model. October 3, 20232 yr Also, from the tests I've been running with P3Dv6, with or without ASP3Dv6, it looks to me that they had added some fine tuned turbulence effects and that's why, contrarily to previous versions, I can now feel one of the wings being affected and going up or down instead of the whole aircraft at it's "centroid"... October 5, 20232 yr RealTurb is an add-on you should look at too - adds a lot to the experience. You'll experience mechanical turbulence from nearby hills etc. that you don't get with any another add-on. You need ActiveSky to use it. I realise you were asking about "wing flex", but I thought I'd throw this add-on in. Quite a few guys, including RW pilots, have commented that it is quite good.

I found it would regularly kick out the autopilot in the PMDG NGXu making it unusable with no apparent turbulence visible elsewhere in v5 and so had to uninstall it

Contrarily to the joke the turbulence is in MFS, this one, together with the excellent variables provided by Active Sky, do make a difference. I notice it when flying the same situation in v5 and v6. But I have to check that "RealTurb" software that a few friends already mentioned to me as being really worth the have ... I have my Activesky turbulence slider at 35, and have never had an autopilot kick out in the PMDG or FSL aircraft if that's of any help.
October 6, 20232 yr Realturb: After having been told about it by a simmer friend I started trying to find more info about it. Since I bought a 6 month v5 license ( Developer ) to be able to enjoy some of my preferred addons ever that aren't still available for v6, I might buy the Europe version. Just noticed the developer is now working for that elephant in the room, but just as many others I strongly believe one day the elephant will be just too heavy and restrictive to live with in a small room and they will turn again their attention to P3D and other platforms. AFAIK Realturb isn't yet available for v6 ? And I reay don't want to go the "fake install" way again that v5 and v6 are stable and shining in my rig 🙂 Edited October 6, 20232 yr by jcomm Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
