Is it time to keep the tourists away from the Kings Guard?

Silly women hits him with a box of pringles at 1:52.

No…..but it might be time to keep our home-grown loonies away from young soldiers.

Not sure if this was a home-grown Pringle basher or a tourist.

Maybe they should limit the number of people allowed to be that close, and with an official guide.

I think it’s pretty obvious she’s a common or garden London street loony.

One can never tell. I've seen some very strange tourists around my parts. 😁

Time to start making arrests and jailing those found guilty, like civilized nations used to do.

True enough. But we would need to modify the way things are done now. Way too many people in close proximity to the guards, and we need something better than a small sign saying "don't touch the reins".

They should say Step back 10 feet. I've seen numerous You tubes of the guards allowing people to pet the horse. Not a good idea.

Just my opinion.

I would hate to see the tourists restricted from approaching the guards. And nice to see people of the different cultures grinning at the cameras, knowing it will be a treasured photo of their vacation.

word not allowed shoves Kings guard about 1:53.

3:04 "it all right for them to attack you violently?" 4:23 "buck him off, make him smash his head"

But please let the public get close, that's called freedom. Its precious and without it, quality of life is reduced. Her reaction was just a quick shove after hearing the shout. But for serious interference with the Kings Guard should warrant a jail term.

I would stay well clear of the guards and horses out of respect.

Its not primarily a tourist attraction though. These are active duty soldiers, on duty. Serving a function.

Freedom trumps, I would say.

As would I, but "respect" is the operative word and seems to be lacking at this point of history.

Not when it comes to a military organization carrying out a specific role, namely guarding the King.

There's no such thing as total freedom, a society can't function on that basis.

We Americans had a different view of freedom vs. security in 1776 than did British subjects. And we still do.
