Opinion: The most feature complete payware airplane

Heat Blur F-14.

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

In terms of airliners, I'd also say the PMDG 737 and Fenix A320 (Fenix will probably take the lead once V2 Block 2 releases). In terms of GA the A2A Comanche followed by the Milviz C310 maybe (a bunch of other great contenders too).

This topic is about payware, but definitely the Asobo/WT 787 and CJ4 are leading everything out there in terms of completeness when it comes to the default fleet and their simulation of avionics/FM/systems.

Both, I think are as "feature complete" as you can have in a sim.

Can't agree there. Even as a huge fan of airliners, the A2A Comanche and maybe one or two other 'GA aircraft' I'm missing are the only ones that meet the 'feature complete' definition.

Fenix A320 is missing a whole engine variant, engine modelling to get closer to real world numbers and sharklets at the very least.

PMDG 737 is missing ARINC 424 navdata and all supported legs, an ability to perform tight turns during taxi, functioning CBs, animations and textures that befit a new gen flight sim and the rest of the EFB functionality.

Leonardo MD-80 is missing a sound set and texturing that are worthy of its systems depth and its price point.

Leonardo md-80. Nice having the acars and cpdlc.

Oh man, that's right. I actually forgot all about that one! Haven't flown that plane since about 4 months after release. I've gotta try that one out.

To be fair, this is something which is overlooked.  However, PMDG had the previous version's data to work with

Good point, however Fenix also had a significant head start with the embedded ProSim avionics...

Not bashing, just balancing 🙂

Crowd of angry flightsimmers marching on Redmond...

What do we want: Perfect planes!

When do we want 'em: Now!

If you like slow and boring aircraft. Go for it.

I don't find airliners in MSFS boring, but I do find the excellent GA/Helicopters offer more satisfying flying.  I am currently getting to grips with the HPG H145 helicopter - a much more challenging flying experience than any airliner.  I have the excellent action pack for it that contains many satisfying missions.  It's systems are complex too.

The latest GA are really excellent, but for a pure flying challenge with complex systems, the HPG helicopters are hard to beat.  Besides, all that loveley scenery and weather - much better to see it and fly in it rather than miles above it 🙂

Monitor AOC AGON AG352UCG UltraWide G-Sync @ 3440x1440
Internal Storage 1TB NVMe PCIe SSD
External Storage Three 4Tb HDs

I also should have mentioned, and as it does not discount military aircraft, I would say the sim with the most complex, fully featured aircraft is without doubt DCS, just about every system works to a depth that's simply astounding. I am talking about weeks to learn a aircraft to be able to carryout missions etc. But i realise a lot of folk don't like the blowing things up scene.
