🙅‍♂️

Like this next version of Toolbar Pushback, as long as the freeware version keeps doing its job, then most people will be fine with a payware version that offers extra functionality, for those that want it.

Does anyone know if it will be compatible with the Fenix?

If Aerosoft are selling it, you will be lucky if it is compatible with MSFS!

Anybody know what has happened to the Aerosoft Twin Otter?  News of its re-release was only a few weeks away, eight months ago.

Call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind, but I prefer Rob.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

It´s Aerosoft - a clear no-buy. I will never ever purchase one of their addons or products again, its always - always - buggy, bad support and nothing will be fixed.

After reading a number of lukewarm posts regarding GSX and its "complexity" in this thread, I wonder what is so difficult about it, I have been using it for years in P3D before and now in MSFS without even thinking about what I should do, it does the job very nicely while I start engines and get ready for taxi.

I never spent one minute to configure one gate anywhere and regularly download on Flightsim.to airport profiles made available by fellow simmers who are patient and competent enough to share their full GSX airport configuration, push these files into the GSX MSFS folder and I'm ready to go.

I rarely use the boarding of passengers - or only at small airports - to avoid hitting the object limit.

Finally, GSX is updated very frequently by its developers.

But supported and distributed by Aerosoft? That's a tough pill to swallow.

That's for sure the reason why it took too long for the release

GSX is certainly more feature rich but it still has its idiosyncrasies and does seem to fall over at inopportune moments.

Kind of a nightmare. I prefer to keep not using it

I as well as many others used it with the Fenix without any issues.

Sometimes it didn't push me back and other times it made me tailstrike. I guess it doesn't like certain scenarios with the Fenix but others are fine.

I'm going to continue using the free version for now as it's still getting the job done for me perfectly. Never had one problem pushing back the Fenix A320 with it. I would've preferred the payware version to be published through Justflight as their customer support has always been amazing.

Rob-

I love that airframe and keep waiting for the promised refresh. I used to buy a lot of Aerosoft products (airports) in P3D. I am much less enthusiastic about them now. Hopefully the Twotter will get the attention promised. She’s a brilliant design that has stood the test of time.

Yes Carl I agree.  And the floats version even fits in my swimming pool!

I have to agree on this. I held off buying it for ages, thinking it would be too complex and cumbersome. Then decided to take the plunge, installed, and to my surprise it just worked right out of the box. Their pushback feature is perfect - when a correctly working GSX profile is installed. Love it when you can choose something like «pushback on taxiway A facing east».

So yeah, I wouldn’t get it just for the pushback (obviously). Before GSX I used toolbar pushback which IIRC was the best one due to the pre-planning feature.

AFAIK, the payware version is being developed by the same individual who did the free version, which (for me) has always worked flawlessly. I assume Aerosoft is just the distributor.

Yes, that would be the case I believe.
