But supported and distributed by Aerosoft? That's a tough pill to swallow.
February 18, 20242 yr I’ll be watching reviews of this when it is released. Currently I use GSX for pushback only. I have all the GSX gates disabled and very seldom use the other features. One of the major drawbacks of GSX is the increased load time of the sim. If the reviews are positive I may switch over. Video link removed, see further down for Q8Pilot video. February 18, 20242 yr I use the free toolbar pushback and it works better than the FS 2 crew I bought and don't use anymore.
February 18, 20242 yr I like the free version too. Have GSX as well but never use it as it's just not my cup of tea. The only drawback of the free version is that Fenix warns against its use - hence I'm wondering if the paid version will be compatible. The feature list does make an oblique reference to "compatibility with add on airplanes", but doesn't go into specifics...

I just started using GSX and pushback works like a charm. By the "GSX gates", do you mean the worldwide replacement of default jetway models? Any reason you're not using that? 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
February 18, 20242 yr Q8Pilot has already reviewed the new payware pushback tool:- Obviously he loved it because.... well look at the Aerosoft embedded watermark in the top left side of the video 😄 I wouldn't touch it because ... February 18, 20242 yr I posted the Q8Pilot video 3 post up. I removed mine as to not flood the forums with the same video. February 18, 20242 yr I know that toolbar push back utilities seem to be the preferred option. For me however, I have used Pushback Helper. It is a neat little utility that you start for Push/Pull and close after you’re done. No impact whatsoever. https://flightsim.to/file/853/pushback-helper-v2-0 I do own GSX, but hardly ever touch it. February 18, 20242 yr GSX is certainly more feature rich but it still has its idiosyncrasies and does seem to fall over at inopportune moments. This would be a nice backup to have, for sure. I do love the simplicity of drawing the pushback to be perfect every time. Would be amazing if GSX could incorporate this kind of drag and drop simplicity into the pushback.
