Aerosoft Toolbar Pushback Pro release next week Feb 22nd

AFAIK, the payware version is being developed by the same individual who did the free version, which (for me) has always worked flawlessly. I assume Aerosoft is just the distributor.

It´s a clear no buy, anyway - if he is using aerosoft as his partner there must be reasons for that (why not use marketplace, the free advertising is more than he could make with that german based near-fraud-company).

People reported that earlier versions of this free tool had a memory leak.  Can anyone speak to whether or not it still has this alleged problem?  I'm assuming (I know, that's dangerous) that Aerosoft wouldn't release the paid version with a memory leak.

That would be a bit difficult since it isn’t released yet …

The most recent free version of this tool is perfectly fine. No issues. I've been using it for months now at almost every flight.

Many posts on the Fenix Discord channel with people using the Toolbar pushback with the Fenix, and it works fine.

Are you still able to zoom out in the pre-plan mode map ?

No, it doesnt, and thats why Fenix has made an entry in their Knowledge base: (Link for customers: Knowledge Base Home (fenixsim.com) )

Toolbar Pushback incompatibility with the Fenix Simulations A320
Technical support queries
Toolbar Pushback is not compatible with the Fenix Simulations A320 as this plugin can cause severe performance degradation and also issues with the autopilot causing an uncontrollable climb or descent

What does the fact that they're based in Germany have to do with whether they are reputable or not?

If it doesn't have anything to do with it, why mention it?

Nothing, as you can see I am german myself. They are just german based. And not reputable in my opinion.

Ask if it works on the Fenix discord, and see what response you get.

I have had some problems with B787 (Kuro/Horizon) when using Toolbar Pushback, could not activate AB for Landing, manual Braking was as expected. Gone after tool was removed from community folder also unable to zoom into map for preplanming. Maybe it's solved in the payversion...

My response is that sometimes it doesn't push me back at all and sometimes it lifts the Fenix so much the plane ends up on its rear end.

Not sure why you keep telling others their experience didn't happen because it works fine for you and others. That doesn't mean everyone has that experience. It works most of the time but it can cause problems. I've seen it myself, as have others.
