Got something weird going on with the checklist. Anyone got this? And please don't hit me with the RTFM stuff, be nice 🙂

I use my own checklist, so not had any issue with theirs. Perhaps it has taken the huff because you've left your VHF off...

Quiet night for you.... 🤣

Huh?

Anyway, another question: I think the cabin crew might be trying to get in touch with me (ding-dong). Not sure why as I'm at FL140. Any way I can contact them?

It's small enough to legally land at EGLC. (This is why I purchased it when three competing airliners were also being released about the same time. Because it could land at this airport).

Grea landing vid 😎  LC is wild. Isn't the glideslope something crazy like 5 degrees?

Yeah me as well, realised this morning that my checklist had me getting clearance well before VHF was turned on.

Very much a work in progress....

Good update

On the Simbrief profile I changed the passengers weight to 89kg for the -100 and -200, 88kg for the -300 to be sure to get the correct number on the EFB when loading the flight.

There are guys in London with Youtube channels of planes landing at nearby airports, mainly airliners, and several times a month. If the weather is bad, they usually post that day.

Those in Simmarket like me, download again the 146 and the update is that. It has not triggered like other times other updates and addons, that I don´t use since many years and are deleted and never I had downloaded in this PC. Weird, maybe because it is a new version and not a minor update of and former version number?

And the update is from this morning that they sent an email about that seeking this afternoon in the Inbox.

Really good, excellent FMS and a MSFS map with the route in the WX screen and the position in the charts, excellent, really thanks, impressive funny machine, better and better, really deserves the Professional name.

5.5°. I've tried it in the Fenix a couple of times (-1400fpm lol), but not yet in the 146.

---

On the arrival into LFLC Clermont-Ferrand runway 26, I was greeted by the following METAR:

Quote

Wind 170° 18kt. Ceiling and visibility OK. Temperature 17°C, dew point 7°C. QNH 1015hPa. becoming: Wind 180° 20kt, gusting 33kt.

This seemed quite intimidating, as I've never landed the 146 in such a strong crosswind. I decided to use the technique I learned during my PPL flight training - that was in light GA aircraft though (C152, Piper Warrior/Tomahawk/Archer, Beechcraft Sundowner).

It seemed to work in the 146, but I'd like to know what others are doing, as there are several different x-wind landing techniques.

Note: I was using my Thrustmaster TCA Airbus sidestick twist rudder at the time. Just after the landing I decided to hook up my MFG Crosswind rudder pedals 🙂

I see absolutely nothing wrong with this landing. Never thought of using the brake on final though.

Oh EGLC is my favorite. I love doing ils there without the auto pilot to test my skills in a sim. Was the 300? I think I only tried on the 100 and 200.
