Looks like a high angle of attack for landing!  No view of the runway.

It'll be the same for the final passenger version. No Concorde style droopy nose adding to complexity and weight. Camera view for landing.

Where's the redundancy in case of camera or electrical failure (admittedly very low probability events)?

Probably similar to the one used for landing a jet fighter on an aircraft carrier.

There will be multiple cameras in the nose and I would think multiple independent circuits and backup power supplies. I guess it would be capable of a full Autoland on suitable runways too, just like airliners now. I don't think Boom would be contemplating this unless they were confident it was safe.

You're very likely to be correct about the redundancies. Just that a forward view, not reliant on tech, at a critical phase of flight would be preferable to most people.

Plus, there have been episodes of aircraft manufacturers who were confident that they were building safe features...

For some people, for sure. But the vast majority of people who are passengers don't have a clue what goes on in a cockpit, or care. Those people are happy if they feel that the aircraft is properly designed, properly tested and deemed safe.

And of course, if Boom designed this aircraft just like Concorde, with additional mechanisms that drooped the nose, so added weight and complexity, the concept would be compromised and not viable and never become a reality.
