California - best VFR freeware sceneries ?

Recommended Posts

I'm planning a VFR tour along California.

Any suggestion regarding the best (freeware) VFR sceneries in this state?
I'm referring to VFR aiports/fields but also landmarks.

Thanks
Stefano

Check out @vbazillio ‘s threads (some still on the front page), Dude’s pretty much got the California VFR freeware scene sewn up.

Thanks for the previous posts 😉

@ilpagaia: you may found interesting flightsim.to Collections grouping several freeware. The "Best of California" is your next stop, I think 😉 And it's not a collection I've made ! Finally, in case you don't know, you may also pick sceneries/mod you want based on this geo map: https://map.flightsim.to/

Also check out 'mistercoffee' on flightsim.to as he has released water fixes for a lot of the coast of California.

Even better.

Been wanting to do this for a long time.

Taking out the Comanche today going to do the whole circuit thought out the week or weeks to come, although the weather from KBFI to KALW is very nasty today.

Might have been the easiest question I’ve ever answered an Avsim 😁

Vincent’s work is broad and incredible.

Wow had missed a lot of the ones listed on the map... are the older ones (e.g. 3yrs ago photogametry) still worth downloading?
