I'm planning a VFR tour along California. 

Any suggestion regarding the best (freeware) VFR sceneries in this state? 
I'm referring to VFR aiports/fields but also landmarks.

@ilpagaia: you may found interesting flightsim.to Collections grouping several freeware. The "Best of California" is your next stop, I think 😉 And it's not a collection I've made ! Another resounding endorsement for @vbazillio excellent sceneries. They are phenomenal.

Also check out 'mistercoffee' on flightsim.to as he has released water fixes for a lot of the coast of California.

Even better.

Been wanting to do this for a long time.

Taking out the Comanche today going to do the whole circuit thought out the week or weeks to come, although the weather from KBFI to KALW is very nasty today.

Wow had missed a lot of the ones listed on the map... are the older ones (e.g. 3yrs ago photogametry) still worth downloading?
