Was flicking through youtube yesterday and saw a video by islandsimpilot who was saying that MS were going to have to delay SU15 again today as there was a bug meaning that addon aircraft could not be used on Xbox.

Has there been anything official on this or do they think they can fix it in the release version which I assume will land at 1600Z today if it is indeed released.

Yes, that issue with WASM add-ons is present on Xbox but at this time, delays of SU15 are speculation because Asobo hasn't announced anything. A delay does seem likely.

I hope they will take their time as there are still issues to be resolved.

If the DX12 tile bleeding issue doesn't get fixed in this SU, then it means we will have to wait until 2025 and SU16, and that will be a disgrace.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I don't think it will get fixed....I didn't hear anything about it...DX12 still has a long way to go...

Didn't they want DX12 as default in MSFS2024? If so I can't see the current issues being fixed in this beta, they'll probably backport it next year which IMO is a waste of time.

It will be released today otherwise they would have gave us notice that it wont be sooner.

An updated build has already been pushed but not yet released and I assume this will be final once released later today with the fix in place

Regards DX12. It will always be in Beta IMO due to the architecture and the tile bleed will probably not be fixed this year.

Absolutely   I imagine that most if us will be using MSFS24 by then unless it launches with big issues.

Are the issues with WASM and stability "only" an Xbox thing - or does they also occur on PC ?

If only Xbox, then they might release SU 15 for Pc and then update Xbox later.

Just a theory.

In the first place, they never listed the 7th as the release date. Jorg said the WEEK of the 7th.

Right On the development roadmap they say "Sim Update 15 (05/07) Tentative"

So it´s not written in stone that release will happen today.

If they wait for to fix all, maybe MSFS 2020 still would be unreleased in 2024.

I am expecting SU15 for the helicopter double rotor implementation, and then the Miltech Chinook update to the new flight model.

I won't be surprised if it is pushed out to June. Must suck for all developers that have cool toys ready to implement better ground handling and tire physics.
