People aren't happy when updates are rushed due to issues, and they're not happy when updates are delayed to ensure all the issues are fixed. There's no pleasing some people.

Maybe don't introduce improperly tested features at literally the last minute during beta testing ?

Feature creep is a considered a really bad idea for a reason.

A change to the WASM handling that basically broke most if not all planes that use WASM on the XBox.

Sure.  Ok. Are you sure it was a deliberate change and not an unintended consequence?

"Show stopping" is in the eye of the beholder.

Let me rephrase that for you:  NO ONE will put up with a 30% reduction in frame rate.  That's of course my opinion and I'll go on record if Asobo releases this with that kind of penalty people will park MSFS until that is addressed. No way Asobo will release it if that is what is happening w/ the current beta.  And apparently not everyone is experiencing what you describe.

Changes to WASM handling on the XB were highlighted in the release notes so, yeah, releasing the new version was deliberate

On the contrary, performance is worse, especially T-Lod has become much worse.

Most everyone has been happy with performance overall at least I never read comments to the contrary, but I don't hang out on the MSFS forum for perhaps Xboxer comments.  And I've seen ample testimony from same that performance is good.  So what you are experiencing can't be by design as where would the impetus come from to drive down TLOD in order to improve performance?   Doesn't fit--they're not releasing SU15 because 'taint ready.

Just saw this too (in the release notes). Not more than an hour ago I had it at Stuttgart. I'm baffled as I thought we wouldn't see a fix for ages.

I guess you can't please all of the people all of the time. But it might just be possible to please some of the people some of the time 🙂

It’s both a blessing and a curse.  Sure, there are delays specifically related to the Xbox, but on the other hand, you’ve brought more users (money) to the table and if you can optimize for Xbox then it should benefit the pc as well.
