Azurpoly has just teased their next aircraft

Featured Replies

And it appears to be a SEPECAT Jaguar.

oh yes....

I was thinking about this after the Tornado. I hope they do both versions though, and even the Two-seater if they can manage it!

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I was just thinking the other day, that we'll have Tornado GR1's (two of them, sort of) but now we need a Jaguar...

So neat seeing SEPECAT Jaguar's taking off from grass fields.  Those big stalky landing gear bouncing along.

It's probably not for me, but I know one or two people who'll be very pleased to hear about this. AzurPoly are pressing all the right buttons at the moment.

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

Where was this teased?  I couldn't see anything on the website or book of face.

They posted a picture of the right hand landing gear on their Discord and invited people to guess what it was.
It didn't take long 🙂

Nice - thanks!

The Artists impression shows what an exciting looking combat aircraft it is.

It is probably not well known across the pond, but it was an absolute workhorse and unsung hero for the RAF in many theatres of operation.

Also some nice opportunities for repaints here if they can cover the slight differences between the 'A', GR1, and export versions. Apart from the multitude of British and French colours, there's also India, Nigeria, Oman, and Equador that I can think of.

It's one beautiful warbird!

They released some new pictures.  Early days, but unfortunately it seems like just the French 'A' version for now.

This is to be expected, as Azure Poly are a French outfit, but no good for us who want the RAF / Export version, which sold in greater numbers I believe.

Hopefully they can add a GR1 / Export model later on, because I have no interest in buying the 'A' version on it's own.

EDIT:  The original post has since been updated with new information to say they may or may not develop the other models later, but it doesn't look to promising by the sound of it.

51:57 - nice takeoff

52:01 -- a Jag "gettin' it" as we say

52:06  - taking off from grass

Anyone bough the Jaguar and is it any good?

I'd find out for myself but it doesn't seem to be on the 2024 marketplace ?

Their website say it's for 2024/20 and available for purchase on the MP now and other vendors shortly, I can't see it anywhere. I'll probably wait for justflight to stock it.

Well the good news is that AzurPoly has built a pretty solid reputation with their previous addons.

This guy is a former IRL RAF fast jet pilot - he seems to like it:

and the obligatory Mach Loop run 🙂

Yes, I certainly like their C 160.

I must have misunderstood reading their website, fair enough, I’ll sit and wait for its 2024 release. ( I still have 20 installed but that’s for emergency use only, I don’t want to buy anything for it anymore)
