Anyone have the md11 currently in P3d that can give an opinion on it?

I'd be very interested as well.

I have the 717 and really enjoy it. Yes, it is a VRAM hog, but I have a 12gb video card. 🙂

Yeap, the 717 is a great plane but they never fixed whatever the vram issue is with it in v5.

fingers crossed they gave the md11 the attention it deserves in P3d.

one purchase covers both P3d and msfs, so it’s a great deal in my opinion, but only if both versions are good.

So far the P3D version of the plane is hitting the my vram limit. It’s sitting at 6.7 gb on the default airport after loading up. That’s at 1024 textures set in P3D. So there is a lot more to be fine tuned on the P3D version. Like a lot…

Ouch, hoping this one isn't too much of a VRAM hog

I've been able to just about manage with the FSLabs Concorde but that does have the advantage of flights not being longer than about 4 hours.

PUT In the UK.

So for the Pre-sales customers, the download will be available next week but you cant still fly it until 2nd July! I am not sure I understand that sales logic.

Anyway looking forward to this release. I am anxious to give the cargo variant a go first.

By all accounts its pretty finished but buggy in some places still, which is expected for an early product Hopefully a lot was identified early in the pre-sales phase by those early adopters.

As for VRAM I just purchased a 12Gb RTX 4070 Super, so am hoping this will be enough for those textures loading.

I havent seen any news on what liveries are planned to be available for the P3D version. On the TFDI site there are some MSFS liveries for download but absolutely zero for P3D. Maybe that will change in a week or so.

I did not spot a Martinair livery so far. Cue painters...🙂
