LVFR A339 non-airworthy

Featured Replies

I bought this over the weekend, and it REALLY annoys me for a couple reasons. First off, within hours I realized the plane was not going to be usable... even so MS will not allow a refund. We need a sim Better Business Bureau 🙂  The TCAS in this plane does not work, oh you can happily change the value, err, but then you can't turn the knob to get it out of standby 😞 This is an example of so many products in the sim world, they look pretty, and the shill reviewers on the BoobTube are out there talking about that. Problem is as soon as you drive off the proverbial lot the thing falls apart, you try to turn it around to get your money back, and get told "sorry, we don't do refunds".

Oh, and its not just the TCAS that doesn't work, the FMC is complete word not allowed, oh sure, you can enter your flightplan... from Simbrief even, OOOO how awesome right, reviewers love that, but all the VNAV data is meaningless garbage, I mean it appears to put some numbers in there, but they make no sense, it does not really calculate a TOD and surely knows nothing about the descent. This whole thing is despicable given that the totally free Airbus products in the sim from Inibuild are fully functional... and I got ripped off for 35 bucks for this hot mess... 😞

Stay clear of this my friends!!!

Sounds great!

Seriously I'll pass on that, if I want a 330 then I'll see how the free Headwinds one pans out..... Not tried it in ages.

I've tried the Horizon as well, I wish I could give you good news, but it's failings was why I went to take a chance on the LVFR 😞

We have multiple acceptable A320 options, even free, but as far as I can tell there is NO useable A330.  Oh well...

Perhaps one day Aerosoft will finish theirs and perhaps it won't be mediocre....

I had an Aerosoft Airbus in P3D, that pretty well convinced me to stay away from Airbus. Got the Fenix for about two years now, but it still has some issues.

I owned the P3D plane as well, but also never really flew it much. As for the Fenix, I really like both it and the Inibuilds NEO, I fly them in APL and get great results, so whatever imperfections they might have, it doesn't bother me. I'd be happy if Toliss would do one, I own the A340 but just don't like the plane, personal taste thing 🙂

I have been flying APL for quite awhile now. Really makes flying fun and a challenge., Closing in on 1,000 hours.

I’m currently flying the Headwind version across the Atlantic FRA-YHZ.  The only issue I’ve come across so far is the Lat/long waypoints on the NAT track didn’t make it from Simbrief to the MCDU but it’s flying perfectly fine.

I hope FS Labs bring their A330 over to MSFS one day because i'm not touching any other developer's A330 unless Fenix decides to do one.

What issues? I will say to you what you tell everyone who has a problem that you don't.  "It works fine for me. I suggest you read the manual!"

Oh I got that, but Aerosoft?  Remember this project was looking to be slated for release about 1 year ago and then boom!  We’re just getting started?

Not a bumper crop from Aerosoft these days.  Have you driven the CRJ in MSFS lately?
