He's right though. Far more info and support is available on how to get a Nvidia GPU to work great with your flight sim than an AMD one.

Has been like that for literally decades now. As someone who used to run AMD GPUs until the GTX 1080 was released, it was frustrating to try and find fixes, tweaks and apps that worked well on my AMD tech.

that is not so worthy using it with a RTX 4070 with native FG ?

No. Also, native FG will run with less latency than through a separate program.

AMD Ryzen 5800X3D; MSI RTX 3080 Ti ; 32GB Corsair 3200 MHz; ASUS VG35VQ 35" (3440 x 1440)
Fulcrum One yoke; Thrustmaster TCA Captain Pack Airbus edition; MFG Crosswind rudder pedals; miniCockpit FCU; CPFlight MCP 737; Logitech FIP x3; TrackIR

MSFS; Fenix A320; A2A PA-24; HPG H145; PMDG 737-600; AIG; RealTraffic; PSXTraffic; FSiPanel; REX AccuSeason Adv; FSDT GSX Pro; FS2Crew RAAS Pro; FS-ATC Chatter

Yes yes we all know that Nvida has the marketshare and obviously there will be more information out there for support. That does not change the fact that his assertion that it is the better product for the sim is incorrect. The benefits of one over the other is very specific and situational and i feel inclined to point out that its not a one manufacturer fits all scenario especially the last two generations of gpus.

But lets get back to topic. Apologies for objecting but its just one of my pet peeves. More market share doesn't always mean must be better.

As someone with a 4090 and native FG  with a G-Sync Compatible monitor lossless performs better for me.

Numerous people with 4K cards saying this performs much better so I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss it...

Sorry for being dense. Is this topic about the lossless program available on Steam?

If so, when the product page says the program being upscaled must be in windowed mode is this correct?

Thanks

Anyone got this running with an AMD GPU while using Adrenalin, I know they can be used but all the VOD's that I've seen are for Nvidia.

Have you had any luck? I tried this with my AMD GPU a couple weeks ago and gave up. I've heard(read) it works on AMD, but I've yet to see one person either prove that or show it.

6700 XT works fine for me, gives me extra smoothness on approaches to busy airports
