July 2, 20241 yr Hello all. Been flying this beast for some 15 hrs. No issue at all. Works perfectly fine. Been flying out of LTFM several times ('working' for Turkish Airlines in 'A Pilots Life' atm) with no hiccups. Flew out to OERK last night (however that particular flight was with XP12 and not MSFS) and thought I'd do the return to LTFM with the 777 in MSFS. Thing is, though. I get a sim freeze that makes me have to force-quit the sim. Happens when setting up the flight plan. Wondering if you could do me a favour to see if this happens to you all as well. OERK RW33R with the departure being IVON1K. Up to LTFM. Plan from Simbrief. Richard 7950x3d | 32Gb 6000mHz RAM | 8Tb NVme | RTX 4090 | MSFS | P3D | XP12
July 2, 20241 yr Nope, all is well at my end. Yestreday I did a LCLK - LOWW flight and right now I am flying LOWW - EBBR. Flightplan, load and fuel imported from Simbrief: LOWW/34 N0471F360 BUWU1D BUWUT DCT DITIS DCT OKG DCT KOMIB DCT ESAMA T880 BATTY BATY6A EBBR/25L

July 2, 20241 yr Is your product up to date? I believe PMDG's update last week addressed some CTD's and other issues.

Actually made a ticket at PMDG and was told there is another patch in the works. Richard 7950x3d | 32Gb 6000mHz RAM | 8Tb NVme | RTX 4090 | MSFS | P3D | XP12
July 2, 20241 yr I tried your route and everything checks out. I requested the route from Simbrief and went through complete pre-flight. July 2, 20241 yr I had it happen to me once when uploading a flight plan. Never had it before the patch ironically. / CPU: Intel i7-9700K @4.9 / RAM: 32GB G.Skill 3200 / GPU: RTX 4080 16GB / Freight Pilot

July 2, 20241 yr No way to debug this until you go through the laborious process of emptying the Community folder except for the 777, etc. John Wiesenfeld KPBI | FAA PPL/SEL/IFR in a galaxy long ago and far away | VATSIM PILOT P2 i7-11700K, 32 GB DDR4 3.6 GHz, MSI RTX 3070ti, Dell 4K monitor

Thank you! Much appreciated! I can't seem to get this route to work. However I've just done LTFM -> LSZH and everything works as normal. EDIT: The lockup is in the early stages of flight. First one I was taxiing to the active and deleted a waypoint in the flight plan. The second I was just scrolling through the flight in the FMC. Not sure if this is similar, but I remember there is a bug with the PMDG 737 where every time I touched anything on the FMC I would get a total cockpit freeze. The plane was still flying but all the buttons and switches were not functional. The issue came down to the “Xponder” when it was set to TA/RA…setting the transponder to TA only, fixed the issue. i913900KF (5.8GHz) | Case: Fractal PopAir RGB I Gigabyte Z790 UD AX| MSI Gaming RTX 4070Ti Super 16GB | Kingston Fury Beast 64GB DDR5 5200Mhz | SOLIDIGM P41 Plus 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD | Samsung SSD 870 EVO 2TB | Thermalright Frozen Notte 240 MM Liquid Cooling | LG EVO 42" Monitor 3840 x 2160 120Hz | Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo | Logitech G Pro pedals | Tobii EyeTracker | 850W Thermaltake 80+ GOLD |

I actually just had a total instrument freeze yesterday on final approach after a 12h34ish minute VHHH-KLAX flight in the 777. I don't remember touching anything last minute in the FMC tho? Either way, it was absolutely infuriating after that amount of time.

I've done 20 flights or so with the 737 though using the above "issue fix" with no freeze-ups. i913900KF (5.8GHz) | Case: Fractal PopAir RGB I Gigabyte Z790 UD AX| MSI Gaming RTX 4070Ti Super 16GB | Kingston Fury Beast 64GB DDR5 5200Mhz | SOLIDIGM P41 Plus 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD | Samsung SSD 870 EVO 2TB | Thermalright Frozen Notte 240 MM Liquid Cooling | LG EVO 42" Monitor 3840 x 2160 120Hz | Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo | Logitech G Pro pedals | Tobii EyeTracker | 850W Thermaltake 80+ GOLD |

Only time I had the freezing problem with the 737, was on approach, when I got an RA warning. I turned off RA, and hundreds of flights after that with no problem. About 25 flights so far with 777, no issues at all.
July 2, 20241 yr Only two issues I've run into. The Yoko Yoke doesn't play nicely with PMDG planes. My autopilot would light up with proper set-up and all that, but plane wouldn't follow course. Apparently for the Yoko you have to disable the yoke in the virtual fly software (which you usually load up) and calibrate and set axis' the old school way, i.e., via MS controller and MSFS axis set-up. Autopilot worked perfectly after that. Saw someone had the same issue with the PMDG 737 so thought it was my problem with the 777. Yep. Last night had the freeze issue. Was setting up my approach into Hong Kong about 45 minutes before the end of the flight, and pretty much immediately after loading the route and activating the sim froze. Frustrating but hopefully will be worked out soon.
