Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I am excited to introduce my new website dedicated to interactive checklists for flight simulations : Simchecklist.eu

simchecklist.eu offers detailed and easy-to-use checklists for various types of aircraft and flight simulators (Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane, Prepar3D, ...).

Main Features:

- Interactive checklists

- Compatible with all Flight Sim

- User-friendly interface

- Accessible on PC, tablet, and smartphone

- Regular updates with new checklists

The site is currently in beta, and I am looking for feedback to improve it further.

Check out the site here: https://www.simchecklist.eu/

Your feedback and suggestions are very welcome! Thank you and happy flying!

Thanks for your feedback!
The next checklist will be for the Douglas MD-11, probably tomorrow.

Don't hesitate to give me advice on aircraft!

Tonight's new features:

  • A menu in the header now allows you to go directly to a manufacturer
  • The header now contains a search function
  • A "Latest Checklists" insert has been added, listing the 5 latest checklists published.
  • The MD-11 checklist is now online!

Thanks for your feedback!

Hi guys,

Some new features on Simchecklist.eu :
- The display of procedures has been revised to distinguish between what hasn't been done, what's in progress and what's already been completed.
- A "check all items" button has been added to complete a procedure in one go.
- New checklists available: B777 & MD-80

👍

'It is better to be silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.'

Very nice tool. Thanks for developing it. Very intuitive and easy to read.👍

I will be using it for my MD-11 flights!

A couple of things that may offer improvements:

  1. Is it possible to have the B744 and B748 checklists added at some stage?
  2. For the top section where the different checklists are listed, would it be possible to have those completed checklists highlighted in say a different color so its easy to determine current progress so its easier to resume where you left off?

Thx for considering.

Hi!

Thanks for the feedback! 😄

I'm adding these Boeing checklists to my todo!

As for the list of phases, that's normally already the case: grey not done, purple in progress, green done.

Thanks for that. Did not realize the status had been colored coded.

No problem. Don't hesitate to share any suggestions or bugs you may encounter.

So it seems to be procedure flow (or amplified checklist as MD's term) rather than Normal Checklist.

Maybe a selection for that? I'd normally have the basic essential NCL

Borrowed Ideal from Boeing iQRH: "Reset after Go Around" button on the  descend/approach and landing checklist, hold it to reset checklist from After T/O.

Override function to check the item that is not appropriate to current condition (for eg, if autobrake inop), while sure you can still check it, it would be better to be more reflect the reality.

I normally use printed checklists and put them in a folder, I'll put the newly used checklist in the back of the folder, so whenever I don't know what to fly, I'll pick the one from the front, the one I haven't flown for a while. maybe a similar system can be implement on the web as well?

Yes we're really more about flow.

You're talking about a special button to reset to 0 in the event of a go around, aren't you?
Would it reset to 0 from the approach phase?
In bypass, there's a reset button, but it resets everything to 0, so you have to go back to the right phase.

I'm not sure I understand. Would you want certain items to be uncheckable if they're not applicable?

So the goal is to have something that turns?
To make it your own, I'd have to set up an account system, which is feasible but not in my current plans.
On the other hand, you could imagine a “What should I fly today?” button that randomly selects a plane.

As for iQRH, on DES, APP, and LAND checklist, there is a "After Go Around: Press and Hold to reset checklists" button, what it does is to reset and only reset After T/O (clb, crz if there is one), DES APP and LAND checklists, so you can start from that again.

I think as your current UI style, it can be place next to RESET button, maybe only show up between DES and LAND checklists.

On iQRH, that item will be marked a blue X, rather than green √, but other than that it all behaves the same. Same style on 777/787's ECL but it's more needed as it might automatically check closed loop item.

I don't sure if it could be done with local cookies, I see some website could do similar things without sign up anything

Hello, thanks for the link but I admit I don't understand at all how it works?

1) is it a simple checklist of items to be adjusted in the plane, and checks when the action is done.

2) or is there a voice-reco that reads the different checklists?

Thanks
