No, they had WX radar when A300 was  first released. They just  added EGPWS aka terrain radar

So we have Wx radar and terrain on the ND now?  That was the only reason I didn't buy it.

WX radar was in 310 and 300 from the start. In Game of Throne tongue - terrains radar is "the prince that was promised " LOL Now you have both

Looks like it.  And it's only $26 apparently...but only on sale today(?) as I'm told earlier in this thread.

This update is not going that great for me - I now get an issue where all systems and engines shutdown mid-flight and I plummet to the ground.

This performance thing is good news and seems a realy great update is coming to us costumers - well done inibuilds !
