Big A300 Update

I got this bird on sale yesterday, and so far it's been good.  I did have a failure upon loading today however.  No battery function, no GPU power, nothing.  It just had a handful of strange switches on and off but wouldn't reset.  I had to restart the sim and it worked fine.  I'm still figuring it out, but today's flight was perfect from takeoff to landing.  I do wish I could sort the sounds, as the callouts, AP disconnect, and other system alerts are very quiet.  I have tweaked the sound sliders many times.  I don't even hear the engines much as you do in videos.  Odd.  And default ATC is silent for me too.

I'm having problems with the default ATC that weren't there before the update.

I can't hear the ATC, but I can hear my co-pilot speak.

May I ask if anyone has also had this problem and managed to resolve it?

I bought the aircraft when it was on sale two days ago. Made one flight so far and yes, the porpoising when it capture the GS is insane.

Will try to make another flight today and check if it's the same.

Can anyone confirm that this does indeed not allow for the Navigraph AIRAC to be used, only the built in MSFS one.  It seems odd given it supports Navigraph Charts and simbrief but there is no Navigraph updater for this on their hub and based on searching for this seems to confirm that there is indeed no AIRAC support.  Not sure how much of a problem that could potentially be?

I did two ILS landings with 1.1.2 so far and both captured and work very well..

Thanks, I am flying right now and landing ILS 17 KSLC.  I will see how it goes and post back.

-POST TOUCHDOWN EDIT:  Flew the ILS and it captured and descended nominally, IOW just fine.  My previous two experiences with proposing were most likey self-inflected but how I don’t know

it doesn't have a separate Navigraph data plugin, but I think it should use the package navigraph installs in the community folder as it overrides the default data.

But I have no idea. I know for the ini A320Neo it loads ILS data from the actual airport scenery, which is why sometimes it won't autotune ILS because the data is missing.

I think this should be the case - could be wrong but i belive this is how it goes..

Second flight with this... oh boy.

Performance is doing fine, it appears to be a bit more consistent than it's been and the stutterfest appears to be mostly over... but...

Heading sync knob seems to only work when it feels like it
VNAV was tweaked but now it just ignores all restrictions lol. It'll fly over a 250 fix and not even bug it.
The nosewheel ended up canted on the turn so I had to taxi with about 30 degrees deflection on the pedals the entire way

And that's just after the first 45 minutes... I'm still not understanding how we're on the 12th patch and they keep generating new bugs, never seen before in previous updates, on every public release build.

Edit: 2nd leg - kept trying to bug 0 speed on the PROF descent, was able to fix it by switching to MAX DES for a few seconds then reverting to ECON.
