Just flew over NYC and One World Trade Center is missing. See here:

Am I missing something?

Do you have photogrammetry disabled?

Indeed, photogrammetry is required in order to see One World on my system.

I've disabled photogrammetry as buildings appeared like an bomb had destroyed them.

This is very frustrating...photogrammetry on and buildings look rubbish, photogrammetry off and it's totally unrealistic

Oh well.. part of the sim. First time ive seen anyone complain about New Yorks photogrammetry. London , Paris version one and Toronto/Vancouver version one sure but if you’re that against running photogrammetry then expect some consequences.

Dont want to compromise? Ok I’m sure the other two sim platforms may work for you.

So I would think the next step since you’re flying in or around the New York area and not in London is to simply switch photogrammetry back on right?

...unless he wants to fly from New York to London without any interruptions. Messing about with settings during a flight can be an immersion killer.

Hopefully the WU for UK that's coming out tomorrow will improve things

It takes less than 15 secs to turn 1 setting in the menu on. Unless he’s sitting there with a copilot and relief pilot to take the controls when he or she needs to go to the loo or does not avail himself of the sim rate /pause at Tod features I don’t see how going to quickly change a setting in the menu is immersion breaking.

speaking for myself only.. I’m sure the hardcore will think otherwise though.

Anyways moot issue hopefully in the next day or so. Or he can obtain addon scenery if necessary.

So is the hope with the WU tomorrow, I can turn PG back on and London will look decent again?

What's the performance impact?

If pressing escape and adjusting a setting is an immersion killer I'd hate to see what happens when somebody's partner calls out dinners ready, or the cat jumps up on the desk (sorry, excuse me...cockpit)... oh lord the immersion has been broken!!

Photogrammetry takes all but under a minute from off to on and vice versa....quit your crying already or just go fly IRL at this point.

Current photogrammetry tech is only meant to look convincing from 5-10k+ feet up.
