SayIntentions is integrating CPDLC......we'd really appreciate it if you allowed their service to operate through your ACARS systems.

I doubt they will since its a payware product and with a lot using freeware hoppie and now this is on flightsim.to which looks pretty cool https://flightsim.to/file/79705/realacars

Yeah, it’s cool, but it has no effect to the sim, really. This will allow you to interact with ATC. Theoretically it could work side by side, unless SI comes up with a way to talk to dispatch through ACARS which would be awesome.

Getting oceanic clearances, chatting to ATC getting freq changes/clearances would be awesome — especially in the 777.

Fenix has CPDLC build in. Works great, I use it whenever ATC supports it (on IVAO) .

This post is about CPDLC working with SayIntensions, not with Vatsim or IVAO. The developers need to implement a small fix to have it work with all of us who use SayIntensions.

Most of what is said on the Internet may be the same thing they shovel on the regular basis at the local barn.

This is something the base ATC should have if you ask me.

This program is for ACARs not CPDLC, two different things.

This may be better recognized by each company's respective support forum/ticket system. I've only seen Fenix's devs on this forums as of late (none of the others you mentioned). Though looking at the documentation https://sayintentionsai.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/154000189168-how-do-i-integrate-with-the-sayintentions-ai-acars-cpdlc-system- it does seems to be a URL Drop in, which is nice.

For the more tech-savvy members amongst you, In the interim you can try and implement this by doing a host redirect by redirecting any calls to the hoppie URL and instead to the SI API.

I know they are just thought the Acars program was decent enough.

I didn’t ask you 😂 just kidding.

default ATC should have a BUNCH of stuff in there, but they decided to focus on having traffic go around instead. At least we’ve got options now! It’s up to plane devs to jump into this integration for everyone’s benefit.

I think there's nothing to do for PMDG, Fenix iniBuilds etc. If the aircraft already has CPDLC (and they all do, except for the 737), all SI needs to do is send it via Hoppie and it will work.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

That's just the thing, Hoppie denied SI access to their services (it'd probably overwhelm the system). SO they have their own protocol, these guys just need to allow that into their existing systems.

Ah I missed that part, makes sense.
