I guess I am not 100% sure how MSFS works in terms of software, but for example, if I am flying between Chicago and New York and experience stutters, wouldn't the culprit be something (scenery, etc.) between those two locations? Or could the culprit be a scenery not even being used but in the community folder (Phoenix airport or a livery not being used) causing the issue? The flight was slightly smoother but I did notice some pretty bad micro stutters on approach then some bigger stutters on final all the way until taxiing to the gate. I was running all of the same apps mentioned above. I hope this can get resolved pretty soon. I went from having a perfect experience to almost making it not flyable. Same, I’ve noticed in this version my performance on short final tends to take a dive. Three flights and same issue at KMSP, KSAT, and VQPR (noticed it the least in Paro, but the performance on the way out wasn’t good either)

Or could the culprit be a scenery not even being used but in the community folder (Phoenix airport or a livery not being used) causing the issue? I second the Rolling Cache recommendation. For me MSFS performance was stellar for the past two years (almost exclusively with the PMDG B738, added the Fenix A320 in 2024) until a few months ago when stutters started. Initially, it was on approaches where the scenery had lots of trees. I reduced the trees and bushes option to "Low", saw some improvement but the stutters were there...and then things got worse even without a treed landscape. The general feedback on forums was to have less aggressive settings for Terrain LOD and Object LOD. I tried it with a sense of pessimism because I could not understand why this deterioration in performance. I am vey lean on addons and had not added any new scenery. Things did not improve...and then I thought of a post I had seen in the past that the "Rolling Cache does not do anything" so I went for the gusto. I did not just clear the Rolling Cache, I dumped it altogether. I deleted the Rolling Cache file, set the Rolling Cache to OFF and restarted MSFS. Instant success ! Treed scenery runs fine, the stutters are gone and my LOD sliders have been moved back to the right where they were since about December 2022. Give it a try, you have nothing to lose. If it does not work, turn it back ON. zachlog

This is about money nothing else. They could of fixed the server issues months/years ago by investing in them, but they havnt, they dont want to invest the money in it. It speaks volumes. Ms2024 will be no different, youll see I’m sure you are very right here with your comment, however, something has definitively changed over the last four or five days as I’ve seen very smooth flights again pretty much how it was before the last Sim update. Whatever was going on with the cloud base services and all of the disconnects seems to have been resolved, thankfully I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what the new Sim brings Richard i7-12700K | Noctua NH-D15S Black Version | MSI Pro Z690 - A | 32 GB DDR4 3600 | Gigabyte Gaming OC 4090 | 1TB WD Blue NMVe (MSFS 2020) | 500 GB WD Black Gen 4 NVMe | 4TB WD Black Conventional | Fractal Design Torrent Case | Seasonic 1000W Gold Plus PSU | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Honeycomb Throttle | Airbus Side Stick | Virpil Rudder Pedals | Sony X90K 55 Inch TV |

In this list of options, go to ROLLING CACHE SETTINGS. Note the number next to the ROLLING CACHE LIMIT (in case you need to backout the change later). Click the blue DELETE next to the DELETE ROLLING CACHE FILE and confirm is prompted. Select OFF next to setting ROLLING CACHE. Hit key F11 to save the above. Exit MSFS and restart it. Check the expected performance improvement with a flight. If there is no performance improvement, you would like to backout this change and restore your original settings, go to the Rolling Cache options as above, select ON for the ROLLING CACHE, set the ROLLING CACHE LIMIT to whatever it was and hit F11 to save the changes. Exit and restart MSFS. The Rolling Cache will be rebuilt automatically. zachlog

Saia do MSFS e reinicie-o. Saia e reinicie o MSFS. O Rolling Cache será reconstruído automaticamente. I will do this, thanks for the help
September 12, 20241 yr I've had/have rolling cache off, for quite some time. No performance improvement (s) at all. Reporting my observations, which no one probably cares about anyway.
