September 4, 20241 yr Can anybody tell me what this does or what is it for Aivlasoft EFB Its in my simbrief downloader. And where do I save the files if I do use it. Ron MSFS 2024 -Too many airplanes to name. Too many airports to name.
September 4, 20241 yr It's a flight planning software... It was quite popular some years ago, before MSFS... It is payware... I use Little Nav Map, which is free and extremely powerful... Faisal Niazi

September 4, 20241 yr Yes, it is great piece of software... I remember having a free trial when I was on P3D, but then I discovered LNM and it did everything I needed it to do, so much so, that cancelled my Navigraph Charts subscription because LNM has a lot of the information, and now only subscribe to AIRAC cycles... September 4, 20241 yr Author Still don't understand why it's part of simbrief Ron MSFS 2024 -Too many airplanes to name. Too many airports to name.
September 4, 20241 yr So you can auto download the flight plan you make in Simbrief, and have it show up in this software. The SB downloader has options for lots of software. 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen
September 4, 20241 yr The Simbrief Downloader (a separate app) allows you to store various versions of the flight plan into specific places - useful for aircraft like PMDG that require flight plans in non-default locations. https://www.simbrief.com/home/index.php?page=fms-downloader
September 5, 20241 yr Author I will have to check it out. Never saw it before and I certainly never had it selected. Maybe Simbrief had an update. So many add-ons these days, its hard to keep track. In the end, I just wanted to make sure it was not something I should be using for one of my planes. Ron MSFS 2024 -Too many airplanes to name. Too many airports to name.
September 5, 20241 yr AivlaSoft's EFB was not a flightplanner but a full-fledged and excellent EFB with an elegant uncluttered UI. It required no subscrition except for AIRAC updates. As a flightplanner you could use Simbrief and then load it into AivlaSoft's EFB. Unfortunately it is no longer available but for the lucky ones who have it's fully functional in MS2020/X-Plane and AIRACS can still be updated. Regards, Andreas Gutzwiller
September 5, 20241 yr I use AivlaSoft's EFB on every flight. I run it on a separate PC with dedicated monitors. I like the fact I don't have to use the SimBrief downloader app. AivlaSoft's EFB allows me to import my SimBrief data directly into the program. September 5, 20241 yr Interesting. I also use it (sometimes alongside with Charts) on every flight. How do you put Simbrief generated routes into A'soft EFB? I (think I have to) use SB Downloader. My path is C:\Users\myname\Documents\AivlaSoft\EFB2\Client\Routes. Regards, Andreas Gutzwiller

Those waypoints are then fed back into EFB and P3D’s flight plan. It probably does the same for MSFS. I use that feature for short flights in the Vertx DA62 and Carenado PC12. You can simply select the FPL button on the left of the screen , Create Flight Plan opens, select Internet tab. Select SimBrief and under Account-Id, enter your SB ID number. After that all you have to do is hit the Start button to import your SimBrief flight plans. Once imported, hit finish. You select the software and locations that you have installed. Aivlasoft, an EFB and planning tool, as previously described, is simply one of those. Jeff Callender
