Very sorry to hear about your nephew, Ray.

I've ordered lost from them over the years. His legacy lives on.

Thank you Martin. Your custom is appreciated. 😁

ChillBlast gets my vote also. Have bought two custom build systems from them and a laptop. Planning to purchase a  3rd new system from them in a month or so just for MSFS2024. Previously I bought from Novatech, also UK based, for FS2004 FSX and P3D. No real complaints for them either, but I have more positive experience with ChillBlast.  If you do not want to start completely from scratch, they have four "flightsim-based" options, each one based upon a processor and a graphics board. E.g., an Intel I7 and NVIDIA 407 si, which you can build up to your own specs - e,g, faster processor, upgraded graphics board, more RAM, increased SSD storage etc.

My only concern is they do not have a flight sim system based upon AMD processors! Just Intel.

My system specs: Intel [email protected] - 5.2 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080, 32GB  DDR4  RAMNoctua NH-D15 CPU Cooler,1TB Seagate SSD, 4TB Seagate HD, Windows 10, Asus 32 inch monitor, Saitek Yoke, Throttle Quadrant, Rudder Pedals and Trim Wheel     Sims: MSFS2020      Preferred Aircraft  Black Square Bonanza, and Baron, A2A Comanche, PMDG DC-6, Red Wing L1049

Another vote for Chillblast , I’ve had 2 high end custom machines from them and their technical customer service was good when I had to talk to them because I’d messed with my BIOS by accident.

They did smirk at me when I insisted on getting 32GB of ram saying I’d not need that for flight sim, and now look where we are, I should have gone for 64GB !

Just configured a great PC for him on Chillblast. 5 year warranty. Probably the PC we will go for.

Thanks again boys. 👍

I think 32 will be fine for the new sim. They said 64 would be just for those running tons of stuff in the background, streamer's, that sort of stuff.

They normally nock a couple of quid off for Black Friday I seem to remember, if you’re not in a rush.

I think he might want to buy before then, Black Friday isn't till the end of November is it? I'll mention it to him though.

I took delivery of my new PC from PC Specialist just over a month ago and have been extremely pleased with it. And it only took a week from ordering to receiving it.

This is my fifth PCSpecialist build. Always been very impressed with them and will order again early next year. The cabling is especially good. Beautifully neat on the inside with maximum airflow.

He's just heard that it's being stressed tested now. So far, he's very pleased with the company. Pretty fast work.
