October 9, 20241 yr I've been looking for an affordable and functional tiller for years and just wanted to share my experience here after stumbling across one on Etsy (Steering Wheel Nose Gear, Steering Tiller - Etsy UK) Received it yesterday and it's working beautifully so far, really adds to the immersion of taxiing the jets and finally no more rudder steering on 90 degree turns. It's 3D printed in high quality (I was skeptical at first!) and comes with Boeing 737 and Airbus 32X handles that can be swapped with 2 screws. Very easy to configure and no issues when I used it with the NGX yesterday. I'm not affiliated with this shop in any way, just wanted to share for anyone that's interested and doesn't want to spend hundreds of $ on some of the other overpriced options out there. Item is frequently sold out but he does get them back in stock frequently (they're usually gone in no time though, so good to keep monitoring regularly). Shipped from Canada, took about 2 weeks to arrive to the UK. Tip for anyone interested - it's not a heavy unit, so get some suction cups with screws to stabilise it on your desk or mount it in place with screws. I attached mine to the Thrustmaster desk clamp that came with the Boeing TCA pack and it fit the dims perfectly.

October 9, 20241 yr @Speedbird 217 This really looks like a cool piece of equipment. I currently use my TM a320 pilot stick for a tiller when flying Boeing and use the little throttle slider at the base of the TM stick for a tiller when flying a Bus. One question please. Is this tiller pretty stable if not screwed to the desk? I noticed in the pictures some had it fasten down, others did not. I have a yoke, stick and three different throttle quads as well as TFI pedals so I have different hardware configurations for different aircraft and want to be able to move things around. Thanks for posting this. Sorry, I just reread your post and it answered my question 😏. Edited October 9, 20241 yr by Patco Lch Vic green
October 13, 20241 yr Wow, that looks really nice and at a great price. I paid a small fortune for my tiller from an Australian company, I think probably 4x what that one is going for. If I hadn't already bought mine I'd be all over this one. October 16, 20241 yr They just came back in stock this morning. Ordered one with both handles. Thanks @Speedbird 217 for the heads up about this tiller.
October 16, 20241 yr I've ordered mine when you posted this topic. Looks really nice. Thanks for the heads-up!
October 16, 20241 yr Author Glad everyone here is excited about this. I've used mine for a week now and very happy with it!

October 23, 20241 yr Oh brilliant, just stumbled across this thread and ordered instantly ( looks like I got the last one in this batch so now sold out again sorry). I also own the Australian made Airbus tiller, but wanted this one for its Boeing style handle so it will be interesting to compare the 2. 787 captain. Hey Jon, can you offer some thoughts on the item. eg, does it have some kind of centring force? Is there some friction to the action of the tiller? How much was the cost including any duty or vat to the UK? I'm quite tempted by it. October 28, 20241 yr Hi Howard, £112.72 was the amount my card was charged, that’s including shipping , and two handles (Boeing & Airbus types)so far not received a bill for any duty. I’ve unpacked it and bolted it onto one of my thrustmaster flying clamp, but not set it up or used it yet. There is some spring self centring force, and the action feels smooth. The resistance and degree of rotation aren’t as large as a real aircraft tiller, as to be expected, but they’re at least on a par with the cat3 (Australian) tiller. I’ll maybe post more once I’ve done some taxying and tried it out, but if you’ve not used a tiller then I can definitely recommend getting one, they really add an extra layer of immersion. October 29, 20241 yr I've received my unit as well. I agree with @jon b's review. I'll just add that the case is fully plastic and lightweight. It must be bolted or secured to the desk to be able to operate normally. Additionally it's a small detail but the developer could have added a push button (even on the case to avoid the complexity of adding it to the handle) just to be able to replicate the "nose wheel steering disconnect" real-life button on the A3XX family. Overall it's a good device and worth the price.
