FSLTL drops support for FSHud

I know the situation for BATC isn't exactly like FSHud's situation but as you said: 'hopefully'... Of course I do expect AI related stuff to become cheaper instead of more expensive but you never know and it is and remains a dependency: you can never be sure about things like that. Elevenlabs may decide to not renew the contract for whatever reason, you never know. The fact that the contract runs out next year already can be a but worrying. In the past most add ons were completely self supporting and didn't rely on other companies or providers. Anyway, my main point was that these dependencies can have its side effects (like with FSHud right now).

That's a bit of a pessimistic view, isn't it? We may all be dead tomorrow and everything in life has risks. Businesses all have dependencies and suppliers and managing those relationships is just part of running a business. I don't see any reason why BATC would suddenly have any issue - as was pointed out, they have commercial agreements with their suppliers and pay for their services as part of the product.

The issue in this thread is that FSHud was relying on FSLTL to inject live traffic without any formal agreement, which as it now turns out is not permitted via the T&Cs FSLTL has with FR24. Even that is not a dealbreaker - AIG still works and FSHud could chose to build their own injector if they wanted to.

It is also curious that, by a similar criterion, the user has paid MSFS with live traffic included, and has to use FSLTL because Asobo's is word not allowed.

In the end, the user who has paid fshud, ends up suffering the asobo damage. AIG flight plans are not live traffic.

Thats nice, but it would be even better if I could run AIG on my system! Reinstalled Win11, reinstalled FS2020, new CPU, new ram, new graphic card, and always same issue, it crashes my pc everytime i try to launch it. Looks like it doesent like me 🤣

Maybe Kaiii could tell us, whether MSFS24 will allow third-party devs to use/controll the injected default live traffic 😏

I prefer not having life traffic and having AIG.  The other day I came into Heathrow just before curfew time (in the sim, it was daylight here), and it behaved exactly as I expected, a shut down in traffic.  It was so cool to see.

NOTAM: If you are on FSLTL v1.6.6 and a regular user of FSHud, you may not want to update to latest FSLTL v1.6.7 as it no longer supports FSHud compatibility.

Reason (from what I understood) - since traffic data is sourced from FR24, their new terms of service prohibits use of traffic data for commercial use by any 3rd party software..

Hello Everyone,

New forum member here 🙂

Its a realshame that FSLTL has lost the integration with FSHUD. For me it worked great and allowed me to have the best ATC experience when not using VATSIM.

Unfortunatley I have updated the injector to version v1.6.7 without reading the release notes and I couldn't understand why its not working with FSHUD anymore untilI read the above post.

Does anyone here know how to "roll back" to version 1.6.6.? Maybe someone has access to some offline installer? Using FBW dashboard its not possible to go back to previous version which is a shame.

Maybe someone has some other ideas how to integrate FSLTL injector with FSHUD or some other ATC solution?

Please help, flying without this is not that fun anymore 😞

I was searching and decided to come back to say (maybe you don't know ) but fshud will control all traffic even live traffic in MSFS2020 and FSLTL too! Soon good news!

The dev of FSHUD has announced that the next release of the v2 alpha will allow it to control all traffic in the sim irrespective of where it comes from, which will mean if you use the latest FSLTL with this new release the FSLTL traffic will still appear and be controlled by FSHUD.

great 🙂 lets wait for the FSHUD update then

Wow! They did it! I completed a flight using live MSFS traffic, and it’s identical to FR24. I also tried the latest version of FSLTL, and it’s working too! They’re able to control all traffic in MSFS2020, and I didn’t notice any performance degradation!

With last update you can use aig traffic controler too for inyection

Excellent News! FSHUD is still my preferred ATC robot 🙂

I tried it and while it populated KORD with plenty of AI aircraft, performance suffered quite a lot. The solution was to switch off the AIG traffice controller once it injected the AI. Performance was back and all the AI remained active. I like it! 😊
