November 16, 20241 yr Well that's been a quick turnaround hasn't it, Avsim space-cadets? Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 5 p.m. EST (2100 GMT)
November 19, 20241 yr Author This will be a higher Starship angle of attack to test heating. Also a faster harder booster catch. So Charlie might get his big badda boom.

The booster trajectory wasn't quite right so no catch, booster was dumped in the ocean and Charlie got his big badda boom. Starship is in orbit and is also scheduled to dump in the ocean.

November 20, 20241 yr They sent a Banana up into space, not sure if there was any meaning of placing a banana in the payload, perhaps because it bruises easily with the gforces? Or just no reason whatsoever Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me

November 20, 20241 yr Author Better video of blast off. And it occurs to me that the huge flame would be a great way to shrink troublesome heat-shrink tubing.
November 20, 20241 yr Watched the live feed, it went up and then came down just as planned with the exception of the booster landing site. No pad catch yesterday, water recovery in the Indian ocean. I think yesterday's test was a huge win for Space X. My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

Especially when you consider that 2000 tiles were deliberately removed to test the consequences, and the angle of attack more extreme to increase heating. Succesfuly reignited a Raptor in space, too
