Back to MSFS 2020. I hate this stupid GUI

When you are in Drone View, press the Toggle Cockpit View key, and you'll be directly in the cockpit.

Not sure if we are talking about the same thing, but I found out that the best way (for me) is to use both drone and external view as toggle, and never mix the drone and external view. Meaning:

Cockpit -> External -> Cockpit

or

Cockpit -> Drone -> Cockpit

but never

Cockpit -> Drone -> External -> ...

The issue I have is if I am in the Drone view, and go to External, I end up in some weird high tail up view. I can toggle cockpit from there with the aforementioned key, but if I go to drone again, I will again end up in that weird view.

So: never mix drone and external.

Oh and btw, I find the UI of MSFS 2024 superior to that of the MSFS 2020. Especially control bindings.

What I do think however, is that function descriptions should be better.

I did that too.  Yes, I finally purchased MSFS2024 last night and spent a good hour setting up a few key commands.

I would like to know why they changed some of the default keystrokes that we've gotten accustomed to over the last 4 years?  That seems non-productive.

On 2020 I had Toggle Drone "\" and then W A S D, R&F (up down) and numpad was yaw and pitch. Would love to get that back again. Maybe further playing is needed here.
