I've spent no less than 20 god word not allowed minutes just trying to set up my hat view axis to be like it was in MSFS, yet I've made no progress. If you have dual monitors, you can probably run 2020 side by side with 2024, look up the term in 2020, and then under the same term in 2024, bind the input. I was able to setup all my views and controls in 2024 probably in 30 minutes? I got stuck on 2 terms and I forgot what is was named so I just booted up 2020, got the name of the term, and I found it in 2024 and bound it. Tried tweaking the 'Action Curve' as well on it, that does absolutely nothing. November 23, 20241 yr No another shocking decision to change the UI and also to not be able to import the MSFS 2020 controls. I've just about set my controls up (roughly) but took me hours and was so needlessly complicated. A
November 23, 20241 yr I've spent a lot of time trying to set up cockpit and instrument views - to no avail. I like my view selections on the Num Pad. I hope the authors make the necessary corrections very soon. In the meantime I have decided to uninstall MSFS2024 and will try again next year. Jim Morgan
November 23, 20241 yr Yeah, tried flying several planes in free flight. Head tracker works, getting some addons added back in from ORBX/Contrails etc are slowly trickling in. But the glob spins furiously so I cant pick an airport. Odd bug. The views, control settings are a mess. I spent and hour trying to delete a setting just to see it come back. Oi. Most planes don't work, most scenery doesn't work sooo....looks like I will just head back to 2020 for the time being when Asobo can get their **** together. Try to look to at the center of Your monitor and then slightly move Your head to make it move back to center. The farther away from center You look, the faster it will spin. November 24, 20241 yr What amuses me is people complaining about the new binding feature as if its so much worse than the 2020 version. Frankly both are poor compared to the system employed in XP11/12 in my opinion. That said I don't mind the new binding system, its different but it works ok as far as I can tell.
