I put KSBA Santa Barbra and the A2A Comanche in MSFS to see how it looks. No issues on both. Santa Barbra blended perfectly in with the surrounding scenery and the Comanche flew perfectly. That said, I'm going to wait for native installers on the Comanche and Duke as what I really need is all the addons that allow those two planes to work (airmanger, popout manager, GTN750, Axis and Ohs, PollyPot etc) so once all those are available then I will look to put them in the sim properly.

Meanwhile, I'm going to start my MSFS flying career.

None of the addon airports I've tried thus far load...KPHX, KBOS, KLGA, EGLL and a few others. 

I've installed GSX it works fine so far. Will need new profiles for some of the default aircraft though

I also installed FSimstudios CYHZ and it loaded and appeared to be fine.

I bought CYWG for 2020 in the Market Place and lo and behold there it was in 2024. Are some of our purchased airports from the Market Place appearing in other simmers sim?

I've installed some freeware airports and building sceneries for Japan and so far they're working ok.

Yep!

Some minor issues but it's working with GNS and analog radios!

Add your addons to the new 2024 Community folder, just like you did for 2020.

I moved my community folder to my D drive and just putting add-on folders there. From the official forums:

Go to the my library page of the marketplace. Hit the little cog wheel to the right of the search box and you can set it up from there.

I recommend this first.  Unless you REALLY want your addons buried in your C AppData folder barf!

 

Thanks Guys...2 more stupid questions I have to ask, first one how do I get into the cockpit and occupy the pilot seat, no matter which aircraft I choose or camera I select I just can't get inside - second one, why is my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick now called a Saitek Extreme 3d Pro and my bindings won't change or save.

I just create a shortcut to the folder location and keep it on my desktop.
